[3.5] Alpha and Omega, Molten Strike Raider. League Starter and End Game Finisher

Hi. U spec 2 passives from bandits to Alira?
alira doesn't help us at all. get the passives
Hi!How you use 2 wildfire jewels? One is ny me ignored!
this was created in delve league before 3.5 patch that restricted the jewel to just one.

it works fine with just one. i'll eventually update the original post to show my betrayal version in full instead of just talking about it through the pages
I love this build! Having a ball with it.

I know you've said you'e going to update the front page eventually, but I was wondering if you still recommend the same helm + Kaom's heart? I'm saving up for my heart right now, and its a big investment for me. I'm currently using a daresso's chest and I do like it, but I'm pretty happy with my current helm and I think the heart would really push me to the next level.

edit: went back a page and say your reccomendations of daresso's vs kaoms. I think since I already have a nice helm I'm going to stick with the kaoms plan for now, maybe buy a budget one with 30-35% for now and farm until I can afford a better one.

Thanks again for the great build!

Would switching to a 6L belly or something and having a +2 balls enchant on helmet work better?

Also why not use a Dying Sun? For 2ex I feel like it's one of the biggest dps boost you can have right? If you go balls deep in with a Xoph's already (at least 5-6ex).

my betrayal version of the build is on the front page now.

so the same helm as on the front page, this league its currently like...very difficult to get. in delve a week or so into the league i bought that helm for 8 exalts. this league a horror elder helm with conc/immolate is....
there is 2x at 45ex right now, 1x at 50ex, 1x at 60ex, and the others are up for mirror service. so good luck getting that helmet this league. it is by far the best dps choice tho, as its essentially an 8link for your molten strike.

a normal elder conc/immolate helmet will work fine with kaom's heart. this is by far the best survivability because you'll have such a larger hp pool. basically at least 1500 more hp, upwards of 2k more.

this league i'll personally choose to run daresso's defiance. this unfortunately will eventually require it to be a 6L, but that allows the helmet to be whatever you want. this league i'll look to get a molten strike enchant rare, and craft it with scorched fossils in order to get nearby enemies have -9 fire res.
right now its proving pretty expensive and difficult to get any rare with molten strike helm enchant, even, so this kind of sucks so far.

dying sun is a solid flask but i prefer to use wise oak as it gives offense and defense. the other flasks i prefer over more dps as well. to have a flask with of heat is required, so thats 1x utility flask. you need a hp flask, you need jade flask, and i prefer running quicksilver - though you could use dying sun over quicksilver if you use leap slam over cyclone. as you'd basically not be limited by movement speed.

again i run cyclone over leap slam for a few reasons
#1 cyclone hits very fast so it guarantees to ignite things, which activates immolate for molten strike and often times procs elemental overload. using leap slam you may need to cast it a few times to get desired results vs bosses or something.
#2 i hate leap slam, personally. i honestly fucking hate it.
#3 cyclone you can easily avoid hits while still being productive. being able to go through enemies feels nice for things like delve, certain boss instances, vs syndicate etc. you also cannot be stunned while cycloning which can play a part.
#4 i don't really like the highest zoom zoom builds. i like to clear fast and stuff, but i can find things get ridiculous. with 14 attacks per second and leap slam shit can get ridiculous so i actually prefer to go at a slower pace

but by all means people can use leap slam over cyclone, and in this case i'd recommend dying sun flask over quicksilver

I know you said you changed some gems around but your CwDT setup in the boots is an interesting choice!

Any advice for what to work towards to bring up my single target damage? I've got a 5 link chest where I stuck a Blind in mostly because I didn't want to burn a ton of chroms hoping for the right colors and also because I was feeling pretty squishy for a bit.
It is still viable using the original build for Betrayal, yes?
yes its still viable.

for single target damage, drop the blind and use a real support. and don't use ancestral call vs single targets if they're high level, swap it for something else. i swap it for elemental damage with attacks.

you don't need to waste chromes for 4 off colours on stuff. you can use jewelers. essentially make your item a 2S, then force those colours to whatever you want, then make it a 3S and then back to 2S until the 3rd socket is a colour you desire. repeat for the 4th for a 4 off colour piece of gear. this works best for only 4S gear like boots gloves and helmets.
