" Since its jump, and then spam balls to kill, then the clearspeed isnt fluent, like it would be with a bow build or cyclone. Its strong, should be beginner friendly, but the speed will be average at best :) | |
Used this build as my 2nd in the scourge, currently going through t15+ maps, warlords on A8 etc.
I'm not lucky enough to get molten strike enchant on my well rolled helmet, I also don't have enough currency to buy a decent res gloves with +1 to strike skills. Which one should be more important for increasing dps vs bosses? Extra projectiles from the enchant or the +1 to strike skils? I tried running gift to the goddess lab for enchants, but I'm not healthy enough to deal with Izaro's one shots :P Sorry for stupid question, but this is my first time playing any marauder build. |

" +1 strikes will do nothing for bosses outside of bosses with adds or hydrosphere shenanigans, so +2 projectiles is far better +strikes is purely for clearing |

i did some test and immolate support and concentrated effect support, cannot support molten strike, so why you use that helmet?
i just bought one and didn't notice any difference, so i got to oriath and checked the gem from vendor, they don't support it... | |
" Have two extra gem slots until getting Enlighten, so I was experimenting with some utility gems. Tornado seems incredibly bad (it flies away from your MS projectiles too fast, and cast speed of the ability itself is abysmal), void sphere is not worth it, golems are dying while I tank and slowly dps'ing away. I'm looking at the gem now, and when you mouseover both Concentrated Effect and Immolate there's that list that pops up in game and it shows Molten Strike with a little green check mark. I'm not that familiar with a lot of the PoE stuff, but I'm having fun with tihs build and about to upgrade to the helm with the supports baked in, but it looks like it works from what I see. | |
" Is it only me or mastery works so, but I usually have bad experience to get fortify on bosses, not even talking about 20+ stacks. Most of the time I have to kill bosses without fortify. upd: I also checked skills: ice crash, tectonic slam, ground slam, earhshatter, bladestorm, cleave, heave strike, sunder. All work with fortify stacks the same way as molten strike - bad on boss, fine on big packs of monsters. upd2: I guess It's not mastery problem, changed to fortify support gem - all the same. I've finally updated the tree on my lvl 96 character in standard. Lost about 1k health (from 7.9k to 6.9k). Can't really say much about damage and everything else as i haven't played a lot. But this loss of health seems pretty massive...
