To whoever who can tell me...
Last league I tried this build and went with quill rain and it was an ultra smooth leveling experience as mirage archer totally nuked the screen and there is the problem. As hits from mirage archer do not count towards poisoning hits for virulence when/why do you use mirage archer and when not? The only place I ever saw the crawler actually do something was on bigger boss fights, else... nothing. Since the core-guide has not been updated fully to reflect all the new possibilities is there anything I should keep in mind? Currently I am lucky enough to have a Lorerasa as I will start with 5L weapon should I rather put the TR into the 6L? TwitchTV: http://www.twitch.tv/akumanotsubasa

" Quill Rain is still good for levelling and early mapping, up till red maps i guess. For Uber Elder you would need Lioney's now. Another thing is a 7L Vicious Projectiles bow, which in general is an EXPENSIVE substitute for Lioneye's and i do not recommend it since damage would be the same. https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer

In Path of Building I tried to make a +3 bow so I check the DPS before purchasing, I already have a pretty good rolled Lioneye's Glare, so I wanted to check. When I made one and equipped it, it dropped my DPS also my poison DPS etc. I was expecting it to increase because of the +3 and with a lvl 16 vicious projectiles as well.
Does PoB not calculate the +3 to socketed gems and the vicious proj support? Or is the Lioneye's Glare just the best in slot? | |
" Darn, I just asked a question about those two bows, and now I just read your post after posting it, lol. I'm staying with my Lioneye's Glare then. Another question though, would it better to use deadly ailments and unbound ailments instead of eficacy and swift affliction? Switching them in PoB seems to increase the DPS. " Wonderful bow O_o my harbinger can go to +3 but i dunno if keep or craft after league finish to a tornado shot weapon BTW I just done shaper and guardians and elder e the only problem is Minotaur Get rid of Added chaos dmg gem and add something that help on bosses like culling strike that give dmg and attack speed. " +3 bows are mostly good for caustic arrow and dots. Since we are running attack/dot/poison build, scaling just the dot does not give us a lot of dps. https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer

" Dot is the main dmg of the build and toxic rain, attack are near 10% of overall damage. I tested in standard with any possibile combination and items: increase dot dmg is the most viable source of dmg.
