Thanks for answering my previous questions.
I have 3 new ones I'm afraid :)

1) How does the Temp Chains + Blasphemy compare to Skitterbots & CurseOnHit + Ele Weakness?
I was really liking the Temp chains effect. Is the chilling from skitterbots slowing down ennemies aswell and therefore the ele weakness is just a nice bonus?

2) (someone else also asked this - didn't see a reply) How does CWDT + Steelskin compare vs CWDT + Immortal call?
Is a lower CWDT + IC (so more procs?) more beneficial than a medium level CDWT + Steelskin?

3) Are you guys actively using the Bone Armour skill? As we are already piano flasking, I find it annoying having so many active skill buttons to press :)
(flame dash, Armageddon, deathmark, Phase Run, Convocation, Vaal Skellies, Bone Armour)

I got 3% minion regeneration on the tree as well. And I link AG with meatshield and elemental army for safety. 1.78% regen on the helemt, with 4% conditional regen on hit.

I use victarios charity with aegis, so I get some lighting resistance there as well, otherwise I have form the tree:

35% all form tree. 29% from elemental army (with 4% + to maximum)

That leads to 64% all resistance.

Lightning: 64 + 29 = 93
Fire: 64 + 44 = 108
Cold: 64 + 41 + 32 = 137
Chaos: 11%

With the +15% from the Ambu (but that I plan on chaining out later).


Do I need to overcap in regards to the elemental weakness curse as well? Will this hold even in shaper and uber elder as is now, or do I need the gruthkul for shaper and uber?


My AG basically had the same items until i crafted a helmet update for him yesterday, i have never seen him below 95% hp and i run highly invested Tower T16s.
Even phys reflect does nothing while it shreds my zombies in the same link, not even with frenzy.

And im not sure if PoB is bugged or not but it shows my AG is at max resists (80) from just tree nodes+base resists.

Yes, and no. Map mods don't affect minions, but any monster that casts a curse can. So if you roll a map with Elemental Weakness, you'll see the curse over your character, but not your minions. However, if a monster casts Elemental Weakness as a skill, then it will debuff everything.

About Gruthkul: if you are using v1 of the build, I would say that AG will survive if you are careful and know how to control the fight, ie. training Shaper to shoot where you want him to. If the fight is still a chaotic mess, then there's a good chance AG will randomly stand in the beam or get hit by balls, or even stand on a degen.

v2 build actually makes all minions really tanky and AG will have no problems staying alive.

In either case, you should be keeping an eye on its hp, if it drops below 50% be careful.


Thanks! I use kind of a 1.5 version of the build. I built a lot more to the left from the get go, but essentially its mostly the same as v2 :)

I recommend using FD while mapping and only use AB against bosses or anything where you have some set up time.

1. TC/Enh4/Blasphemy is 50% slow. vs Skitterbot's 10%. So, if you prefer the slow aura, use that instead. If you can get Solstice, you can run both Skitter and TC, just drop EW cures.

I do have an even tankier version of the build that I've tested that uses TC/Enh4/Blas (50% slow) + Skitterbot (10% chill) + Spider aspect (30% hinder). You'll have to give up some life passives and path into Sovereignty to get the reduce mana reserve.

2. The calculation was made a while ago and Steelskin (& Bone Armour) are more beneficial when you have less than 6k life whereas IC is more useful when you have a lot of hp.

3. I don't, which is why I put IC + CWDT.

Go back to the first page. It has been fully updated.

Don't sell your PoH though! It will still work perfectly fine with the new tree. I'll add some notes later about how to adapt the build for PoH.

Actually the W&S v2 tree is the old PoH life build.

No need to give up nodes if you use a shaper shield with 15% reduced Mana reservation like the one im wearing.
After reserving Skitterbots, Wrath, Temp Chains and Spider Aspect i have 24 Mana left which is enough to spam all of my spells besides actual summoning.

Carnage Chieftain, even with Blood Magic, wasn't keeping full frenzy charges up, so I've gone back to a much simpler 5x SDs.

Also, many people were confused about having RS in two places, so it's also less confusing this way.

It looks like you're using a really old configuration for AG or you're using meatshield because your AG has Kingmaker for fortify? You'll want to use zombies for more meatshields in that case.

Helmet: spectre damage or cast speed
Gloves: Reflection
Boots: ms or regen

I don't recommend anything because self-running ULab for enchants is usually a waste of time and people sell crafting bases with good enchants for too large a premium.

6 spectres is never worth it. You have to give up a 49% more damage support gem to fit in Empower 4. So the combine total DPS increase from 3 extra levels (28 -> 31) + 6th spectre (20%) needs to be greater than 49, ie. does 3 extra gem levels give 29% more damage? No.
