Just ran a quick t15 dark forest map and recorded it. Here is what the horde looks like. You can also see me lock down a blight thread with the skelly totem. No aoe gem on the specs.

Do you use to farm 8 mod map or go deep delve?
In past, dodge tree dont let me go deep in delve or harder content like 8mods vaal map (i mean cant reckless spam all of them without die). Until I use temporal chain. Jinxed is good but in big crown of white mob with increase damage, temporal chain will be best.

And with your config I see that:
Spectre do 577k damage.
Zombie do only 58k per one. Minions is not support by that Chance to bleed
Skelie do 131k dame per one.

So total may be huge but in separate source. Which is not good compare to standard big AoE SD spectre.

You can use more fossils to improve your chances of hitting other mods. So, for the boots, you must use bound for +1 spectre level. Then pristine increases the chance for a life roll and shuddering for movement roll.

Also note that a life roll can mean t1 89 life or t10 1 life. Similarly, shuddering can roll 10% ms. And you can get nothing as well.

Consider these boots. At the start of mapping, my only goal was to get +1, so I just used bound and bench-crafted 24% ms:



For these boots, I really wanted 35% ms, so I used bound + shuddering and bench-crafted 70 life:



For these boots, I spent a lot of exalts worth of bound + pristine + shuddering trying to hit tier 1 mods for everything:

For the standard build, I want to keep things really simple so people don't get confused, which is why I removed Animate Guardian as well.

I'll add notes about Carnage Chieftain and AG into a customisations section.

1. My reco': More damage: Ravenous Horde; More tank: Golem's Blood.
2. Mistress gives "Your Offering Skills also affect you". Combine with Bone Offering to get 26%/26% block chance and 445 life gain on block.
3. I like reflection on gloves and movement speed on boots. Spell dodge is also useful.
4. Carrion doesn't buff spell spectres or the nerco (vs stone golem for regen). You can put one in though.
5. Can do. Take a mana flask.

1) Your choice between Ravenous Horde for more DPS or Golem's Blood for more health.

2) Provides a huge spike in Block Attack/Block Spell Chance when it's ran with Bone Offering.

3) Bet the more veteran players can provide one inspect on that.

4) Good question!! It appears as if the benefit of extra physical damage for Zombies/Skeletons is negligible in comparison to the extra tankiness provided by the Stone Golem health regen IIRC.

5) Doable, albeit annoying. Carrying a mana flask is wise along with good flask management, or better yet reroll the map and avoid the headache.

There's certainly a dip in DPS numbers on W&Sv2, from personal experience it doesn't appear to affect T16 clear speeds or negligible at best. Tons of tankiness to be gained on the new build though.

P.S. melted Lair of the Hydra boss in ~10 seconds, don't even remember seeing the Vaal Temple boss spawn either. This is on W&Sv2.

The 6L used for the runs listed above
391K Shaper DPS per Spectre with Feeding Frenzy active and after proccing Armageddon Brand. Add another 215K Shaper DPS if Increased AoE is swapped out with Concentrated Effect.

If you look at my gear im still in fair gear. Im set up more defensively than offensively. Auras etc. Dps is more than fine.

The point I was making is there is plenty of defense without having to go back to block.

Yep bleed is not enabled... Getting ready to kick over to elemental on the zombies and skellies. This way wrath benefits all. Don't think im going to need consecrated ground moving forward.

Your VERY wrong about the separate sources of damage. 5 slave drivers are usually moving all over the place and this makes you an EASY wide open target. The zombies cluster around you providing a meat shield. The skellies are aggressive as hell and are great for blight maps.

Watch the AI on your SD specs...

Im using Plague Bringer and that boosts AOE by 30%. Thats plenty of extra AOE and leaves a gem slot open for extra dps.

Watch my vid... stuff rarely even hits me. Same with delve.
