make 31 gem level to get 6 spectre. i think warstaff is more useful than helmet to dps
 like this warstaff. What do you think of this idea? |

" Victario gives more damage, but since we have lots of that already, it's better to use defensive shield. I'm gonna soon transition to V2 and going to use this: You can get Frenzy Charges (way better than Power Charges) by using two links (Raise Spectre linked with Blood Magic). By "sacrificing" one Spectre slot, you'll increase your DPS by quite a lot still. No way to trigger Bone Armour. Personally I have Bone Armour, Convocation and Death Mark on my binds, being cast constantly. And then Vaal Raise Zombies for bosses/final delve location and lastly Raise Zombie in case one ever dies. | |
" I was thinking about this, they only way to do 31 lvl is helmet: 21 lvl spectre +2 from passive +1 from boots +1 from wand +3 from empower +3 from helmet In theory by this way you can make it, but it will be worse by loosing one passive slot, and 1 link to the spectres. If you will put in the staff: 21 lvl spectre +2 from passive +1 from boots +6 from empower =30... And still it will be 5 link staff. PoB showing right now strange increase of damage between the levels of spectres, so i really do not know, if it will really increase the damage. | |

Total n00b questions. Haven't played summoner for a long time. How does the slave driver version work? Why do I go to act 5 to find 'slave driver'? Do you need to do something to get this character loaded with spectres every time you play?
What's the playstyle? Sorry if this has been answered a bunch | |
" Raise Spectre skill is used on a corpse on the ground. So you first get yourself to Act 5 Control Blocks. Then either use Desecrate Ground to create corpses or start killing mobs until you encounter Slave Driver. Then use corpse targeting bind (default is a?) and use Raise Spectre skill on that. Now you have Slave Driver spectre following you. Whenever you log in, your spectres are immediately automatically summoned for you. This wasn't the case always and it indeed was cumbersome to fetch them every time you started playing. Gameplay is just zooming around with your movement skill. In easy maps you can just walk/dash and Spectres kill everything. If maps are a bit harder, you want to cast Armageddon Brand at the screen edge so Spectres start to attack enemies sooner. Cast Convocation if you're surrounded by enemies and your minions are far away. Cast Deathmark (if you choose to use it) on bosses. 1. People that are using POH with MOM/ES are you switching over to v2 wand build?
2. I'm still learning necro and died to uber elder today at like 20% cause I sucked at mechanics. Any suggestion on what I should upgrade next? maybe for survivability. I have 5.3k HP with 1.2k ES which seems a bit lower than most people I've looked up. Thanks! | |
