Yeah, SGs will work fine. Actually the build can be used for any spectre really. You just need to change 1. Raise Spectre link group, 2. aura 3. EE trigger.

Won't know until GGG releases more information on gem scaling. I'm hoping that we get 3 spectres from the gem by, at least gem level 23. That way we can use a level 21 gem +2 from ascendancy +1 from boots craft to get level 24 gem.

After the patch notes, I can’t find any builds that are going to be super good and fun to play this league. Too many nerfs. Just a bunch of average builds. This might be the first league I skip in about 2 years.

It looks to me they made this build easier to build while leveling, and grinding for end-game items. But at the end-game, there aren't many differences. We will have to see the patch in action, I guess. We will have to wait and see the detailed gem information they release.

Big issue for me is Delve chest still gives the extra spec. Vis mortis nerfed.

Getting that spec chest will be very pricey.

Plus + items will replace the minion damage we get on wands and possibly items.

So minion damage goes down and minion level jacks it back up.

We go from a fair system where everyone got access to 4 specs to a system based on wealth ( can you afford a delve Chest ).

Big question is how bad our specs get stealth nerfed...

PoB hast been updated. There are new Minion Clusters above Wicked Ward, near MoM and Elemental Equilibrium. Ravenous Horde and Enduring Bond look really good. Gravepact hast also changed and is near the Templar start now

Yeah, this is the new tree for this build:


It's almost the same as the current build.

I'm also testing the Pledge build's tree with Wand & Shield as well as using Goats instead of SDs.

It's possible to get Goats to 95% of SD's single target damage, but the Goats have more hp and ranged attacks.

first of all, there's no +spectre, delve chest boots will be +lvl like bones of ullr.

+skills don't "replace" min dmg, they complement it.

"fair" ? there's no "fair", what are you talking about... not sure you've noticed, but the entire point of this game is to improve your gear(yes, wealth) to get to the next level. stop with that ridiculous false sense of entitlement.
now, this was quite broken with spectres up until now, since all you needed was absolutely minimal investment and oba's lvl 84, and you'd be undeservedly strong. now you'll be much weaker without investment(like other builds, so, "fair" right ?), but you'll be able to actually scale power via +gem levels and potentially be stronger than before given the most expensive items. makes perfect sense to me. all the changes are great, it's the right direction.
