after completing uber elder played around with a few other skills, still your original setup with the curse on hit, im liking volatile dead with faster casting. seeing as i get blind from flesh and stone i didnt need blind/arm brand.

not bad for clearing, especially in delve. fast moving orbs and aoe spread curse and first hit to apply EE.
only downfall is certain bosses that dont spawn ads, might be hard to cast without corpses. but can still manage deathless guardians due to flesh and stone, even without precision/zealotry for the spectre crits..

just still amazed and how balanced this build is! :)

So this was my first summoner build. Decided to try something new which can also farm uber elder. This build is great, already 15 uelder kills, delve is great, mapping is great but only with haste aura. Still need to change some stuff, helm with an enchant maybe, belt and rings. Tried gloves with temp chains corrupt, these are better just with curse setup.

Completed UE for the first time (super easy on the first try, but of course with some research on UE mechanics) with your wand + shield build. Insane dps and took around 2 minutes. Shoutout to the dopest necro theorycrafter Kay! Thanks man!

where does all the dex come from now that you refactored the poh build? i had like 54 extra on amulett and should swap it for another, also getting haste 20 now? I managed to handle haste 9 before... Where do you get it from?

Not really. It's actually possible to drop the Grave Pact passives if you have sufficiently high end gear.

My summoner only has 233% increased minion damage and I have no trouble killing bosses.

Do you think I should move to the Pledge of Hands build? Right now I have 80 chaos orbs so I could afford a 5L PoH and farm a bit for the Solstice Vigil.

My AG already have Kingmaker and Gruthkul's Pet

I'm actually a bit scared, I can rush monster and bosses, Atziri, Uber Lab and Elder with no problem but the red tier bosses... they can take half of my AG life and of course I'm getting some nice oneshots. Am I missing something?

Just wanted to say this build has build revived my interest in the game and gotten me to my first Uber Elder kill in a while again! Super fun to play and as long as stuff like this is viable I think I will continue to play it. Thanks for the build guide and cant wait to take it to the next step build wise!

Just as a quick question though, ALot of the times when I was doing a Phoenix map, My spectres died, At first I thought this was because of maybe a mod I overlooked but sometimes in clean maps it happened too. Am I just being silly or can this happen?

Just started playing and finding this guide really helpful and fun build to use!

I have a question though, I have just gotten Survival Instincts, as suggested. But I can't see that we actually unlock any jewel sockets to use it in, at least not in the phase 1 build.

Am I missing something?

It comes into use a little later on: once you start levelling your Desecrate gem (extremely important), you might find yourself short on DEX. You can take the jewel socket near Quick Recovery and put Survival Instincts there to get an easy 20 dex.

The only thing I can think of is that you need to cap their resistances.



For Phoenix, they're probably burning from bomb + fire res debuff. So, try kiting your spectres away when he starts to channel his bomb: move your necro away, drop a brand at your feet and convocate.

It's a bit late in the league, but if you have the currency to switch, the Pledge of Hands build is worth looking into. PoB DPS is much lower, but you gain more AOE coverage and more survivability.

BTW, your wand has 'lightning to spells', you need to have fire or cold. You're actually giving monsters +25% lightning res with that (instead of -50%).
