Hi,
Thanks for this great build. This is my first spectre build, using the pledge staff. I am usually going for more survivability if there is spot, actually took out the damage auras and got the 3 purities as I got my hands on a double phys reduction watchers eye. :D To compensate a bit the damage loss, I got a ring with shock on focus and leveled a bit Precision for the crit. Slave drivers are still melting T16 bosses with ease. While I take little to no damage. Last edited by Idegen88 on Jul 26, 2019, 12:56:12 PM

" Spectres will try and stand right behind you. More minion movement speed will help them keep up better (But their movement speed has a cap). Outside of that Convocation's CD is reduced via a talent in necromancer and with 20 quality which helps to keep them close to you. As I mentioned Blade Vortex will help keep them RUNNING because they will run towards and kill whatever it hits. When they dip behind just drop convocation right as you hit a crowd of enemies. For the wand someone in the thread can craft Trigger for you (I haven't gotten it yet!). I know kayella has it and has offered to craft it for anyone if you can't find someone to do it for you. The craft itself only costs a few chaos. Try adding their character to your friends list and wait for them to accept and catch them online or work a time out with someone here to do it. I will be doing the same after I clean and multi-mod my future wand. Last edited by Alenael on Jul 26, 2019, 2:58:19 PM

Hi! I'm a newbie player who just hit the "endgame" stuff for the first time. I've been roughly following this guide and it has helped me feel less overwhelmed :)
My current setup: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/B_F_HOODRICH/characters I just spent some chaos orbs to get items with better links(to match the guide) and resistances. The survivability is great, but moving away from zombies and reducing my spectre count has lowered my DPS significantly. I'm thinking that I should go back to my 3 linked blue gem Bones of ullr to increase my spectre count. I also have like, ~15 chaos orbs currently and I'm interested in any suggestions folks might have about what I should pick up to increase my ability to farm maps better. |

" * Pickup a helm as recommended in the guide that has 2 of the gems as mods at lvl 16/20. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/opKRkoqhl Keep in mind you have to have 4 blue gems so if you pickup a helm with dex/str requirments only its hard to get into this state without using the jeweller trick where you do 1 socket at a time. This can easily cost 100+ jewllers orbs to fix. It would be impossible to do this (without the 4s color craft) with chrome alone. It wouldn't hurt to get one requiring int so its easy to roll blue sockets and thus save you some chaos overall. Cheapest one I see that has only int is only 10c (But there are much cheaper ones with int and str) which should last you until your farming t15/16 quite easily. * Change to a viz mortis (as cheap as you can get) and get it to 4/5s and 4l it and put animated guardian chaos/stone golem in it. You can add links with fusings and sockets with jewellers quite easily (For less than 4s/4l). Prophesy for 5s is less than 10c. * Either get the Bones of ullr back on or grab a rare set with +1 spectre (The rare versions are pretty cheap but get more expensive the better the mods are). * You want 4 spectres. Feel free to hit me up and I can hand you some chaos to help get you started if your playing on LSC. I can also provide more specific info if you have additional questions. I will be doing some trading and stuff tonight while I play Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Last edited by Alenael on Jul 26, 2019, 3:52:56 PM

Which one is the best passive tree, the one on "Passives & Ascendancy" or the one in "Act 10/maps" ???

Wow, thanks for the fast response!
I will move back to ullr first, then work towards the helm. The "jeweller trick" sounds interesting, so I'll try to read up on that. I'm still working to understand what crafting can do for you and how to do it efficiently. I guess my prioritization should be: 1. Back to boots of ullr 2. helm + jeweller trick 3. 4L Vis Mortis for stone golem and guardian 4. Socketed ring for conductivity 5. Wand with the trigger 6. 6L Vis Mortis |

" Use the POB. It has the most up to date Passive Tree. If you cant use POB for whatever reason take the link and use one of the online POB viewers to checkout or extract the passive tree to https://pastebin.com/Y4FPLYQq " This should work but until you get that trigger wand your gonna have to spam Armageddon brand to convince your minions to attack and loose out on the buff from Bone Offering. These wands are actually pretty cheap and a ton of people can craft Trigger at this point in the league and you can buy them with it already on the wand. Also conductivity should be attached to curse on hit. Being on your ring would make it useless. Last edited by Alenael on Jul 26, 2019, 5:21:24 PM

Not sure what prefix to add. Blind doesn't work unless you are hitting them with the wand right? Also, thought I was going to get something good: Chest dropped but it was +1 skeletons!!!! Last edited by gromkins on Jul 26, 2019, 6:34:53 PM

I just switched from wand and shield to pledge. I had started with a wand as I assumed it would be tankier and easier to play. I was dead wrong!
I've only done a few maps so far but the pledge version feels noticeably tankier while also doing much better damage. I'd say, if you're wondering if it's better to go pledge, it is! I've got a bit of a dex problem now but it was solved using a wand with dex on it on my weapon swap for when I summon Spectres. Then I'm able to keep those high level spectres and switch back to pledge in town, addressing this issue at least for now. It'll limit my haste level but that's something I can live with. |
