Everyone is talking about SO and crabbies and what not, but am I the only one using FAS? I absolutely love them and the clear speed is insanely fast (granted I'm only at T10 maps) but I am having no survivability issues with 7k life and 1k ES. Some info about SO. They don't have innate Pierce now. My setup RS-Min Damage-EDWA-Volley-Hypothermia-Vicious Projectiles. I use 4G Triad Grip with full phys>cold conversion. Skitterbots with Bonechill support. Hatred aura. I use Hypo on bosses, Pierce on map clear. With 5 spectres you don't really need Greater Volley. I have question about Syndicate Operatives - if I want to start with them because I heard they are kinda good after patch - should I use SSF/Start league system and just change gems from FAS to SO gems from 3.12 youtube guide with changing spell echo and then change to pure spectre version with SO gems too and with same setup? You have two choice: phys/impale or cold conversion. Conversion is stronger but it needs Triad Grip 4G. 4G is a bit annoying for necro because we don't really need 4 green gems... You need to look at 3.12 Pure Spectres build to see the gems & links. Cold Conversion Syndicate Operatives Spectre Phys/impale doesn't need any gear (SSF friendly). but the gems and links are very different.
