I have a 6 link inpulsa, whats the best gem for the final slot? slow projectiles? accuracy?

It depends on your attacks per second. If it's low then you can add a quality culling strike or LMP to increase it. If it's higher than the 3.75 target then you can use accuracy or maybe even blind as someone mentioned in the thread. Don't use slower projectiles though for barrage.

This is what I'm currently running but I'm swapping out blind and culling to see how it handles. I was running both GMP and LMP and was able to tank Chimera just fine. Now that I got the culling that increases the APS like LMP did I've started using that instead.

Feel like I need to call a little bullshit on this build...

Have all the items, level 77, level 20 Arc and 17 Orb. Nowhere near able to face tank most things in 10+ maps. And the DPS is pretty bad in the sense that incursions end up being a roll of the dice if you'll be able to kill the boss fast enough. Sure, blinking around you instantly 1 shot all packs but boss damage is just bad.

I'm going to keep messing around with some other ideas but I'm pretty sure there isn't anything else missing that would make up the massive damage gap needed for this to be a decent high map + build.

Time after time I've read posts like these on these forums and 9 times out of 10 the answer is: get lvls, get the rights gems, get 20Q gems, get more jewel slots, get better jewels, get better jewellery ... i.e. min-max ... i.e. what everyone before me has already told you.

Don't be too quick to call bullshit like 197439746783568 other people before you if you haven't already done all of these things and more.
Why does the build use lightning wrap and flame dash ? Isn't that a waste of gem socket ?! Since lightning warp is enough to move around
Anyone playing this build with Headhunter? I just picked one up but it seems like it kinda messes with the .25s cooldown pretty bad and we can only get 15% reduction on a boots.

The Flame Dash - Faster Casting setup is used when the ball lightning - arc set of pens is used and you no longer are able to use lightning warp. It helps during boss fights for dodging.

I think this post relates to they poster a few back that's having issues with bosses.
You weapon swap for arc/ball lightning. This is your boss killer, and when you are fighting a boss and need to move quick you certainly don't want to weapon swap then wait for the delay on the warp to avoid the nasties. Hence Flame Dash. If you are fighting the boss with lightning warp it will take awhile =)
Absolutely love the build, quick question though...for some reason increased to my critical strike multiplier from passives are not showing up on the tool tip section of my character sheet in game. Are we sure they are being applied, or could this be some sort of strange mechanism from not casting the spell directly?

Also, why do I not want to get my APS above 3.75? I'm at 3.73, but i was thinking of using a blue slot in the helm for my lightning golem which puts me somewhere around 3.88 APS if I remember correctly...

Taken from the OP under build mechanics:

In order to trigger spells every time they're off cooldown, it is ideal to have <4.00 attacks per second. In fact, it seems more ideal to have an attack rate of 3.75 attacks per second, possibly due to server tickrate. It is possible to use gear with Cooldown Reduction (can be found on belt and boots) in order to increase proc rate of spells. However, this requires a significant investment in attack speed. If you have a 20% CDR belt, you ideally want >4.7 APS, but this requires an investment of about 50% increased attack speed compared to 3.75 APS. In the end, the CDR belt causes you to sacrifice a lot of skill points and jewel mods which could have been used pumping up your damage instead, and it causes you to lose the Darkness Enthroned belt. Therefore, I do not recommend using CDR gear for this build, because the investment in attack speed is too costly.
I'm going a little different route but happy with the damage/clear - t16 mobs instantly die, I can do guardians but it's not clean, but usually is deathless unless the mods are really dangerous.

Hello,

I'm playing a spin-off of this build as an Elementalist/Assassin Scion.
I forego the survivability of MoM and focus more on crit.

Now I just have a single question: In 1 Pen I am using Freezing Pulse (with both threshhold jewels), Increased critical strikes and Hypothermia. In the other I am using Arc, Inc crit and lightning pen. However I was wondering since I have a lvl 21 Arc sitting in the bank from my selfcast arc witch as well as a lvl 4 Empower. Now assuming I am lvl 75, Poet's Pen will pump Arc up to lvl 24 having 216 - 1223 base damage and 8 chains. Now I was just wondering whether Empower, which would push Arc to lvl 27 (279 - 1582 base damage and 9 chains), would beat out lightning penetration? I feel like it would since the additional chain translates to more damage while Clearing and with the new changes to arc even when using it against a single target. But maybe someone here could clear that up for me.

Best regards
