I Like this build. But I have a question: Why not go for Breath of Lightning if increased shock effects are one of the main points of this build?

Thoughts on using The taming prismatic ring instead of rare elemental ring? also I can't seem to get enough damage to one-shot explode t5 maps even at level 70(takes me 2-3 hits) something feels wrong can someone take a look? or is that last ascendancy that important

I use it and haven't had any issues with it. I do miss the life/mana I may have with another ring but haven't needed it yet.
Feel like I need to call a little bullshit on this build...

Have all the items, level 77, level 20 Arc and 17 Orb. Nowhere near able to face tank most things in 10+ maps. And the DPS is pretty bad in the sense that incursions end up being a roll of the dice if you'll be able to kill the boss fast enough. Sure, blinking around you instantly 1 shot all packs but boss damage is just bad.

I'm going to keep messing around with some other ideas but I'm pretty sure there isn't anything else missing that would make up the massive damage gap needed for this to be a decent high map + build.

You don't even have the choir of the storm which gives you 50% lightning damage and crit chance through lightning resistance lmao..

You are also missing so much empty sockets, they have so many videos of proof, its definitely doable but require alot of damage probably to leech. until you min/max at least 90% of the things you will never be able to feel the fullness of an expensive build

You need about 2k~ unreserved mana and a decent hp pool (4.5k-5k) in order to comfortably face tank anything endgame.

First it look like you are using all 3 heralds with MoM so that's your first problem. Just use Herald of Thunder. Second would be you're only level 77. Get those extra Jewel Sockets and get some jewels with Life + Mana to beef up your eHP. Third is you are missing Choir of Storms, pretty big dps boost which in return gives you more lightning leech. Also very minor, but change your faster projectile gem to faster attacks with barrage.

Are you running all 3 heralds? What's your unreserved mana? That may be your main problem for survivability. That and all the messed up gems. The orb of storms setup works very well. You should try to fit those 4 gems in somewhere to get the power charges for more crit and the arcane surge for more damage.

If you're not going to follow the build, then you shouldn't blame the build when it doesn't work.

why do we use additional accuracy on barrage? it doesnt matter if we hit with barrage as the skills still still cast out of the pen? wouldnt it be better to use cull?
