[3.4] Teleports Behind You - Poet's Pen Lightning Warp & Arc, MF / Facetank t16 / Shaper / U. Elder
" Definitely. I ran a tabula with 2 pens until recently and it cleared and bossed very well. Here's a link to poe.trade for %inc damage tabulas that worked well for me: http://poe.trade/search/ugitusunitonau Last edited by YT_HB on Jun 7, 2018, 6:51:24 PM

Hey guys just a quick question . Does Lightning warp have to be first in the 1st pens setup? Or can it be linked anywhere as in swift affliction/lightning warp/less duration etc...Btw the build is going really well. I am having a few issues with mana , any suggestions?

Hey man, thank you for an awesome build! It's definitely expensive to build this league, since the Arc is the fotm, but it was well worth it. I'm currently progressing through the atlas, at t10-t11 I'm having no issues at all.
I've dropped the Flame Dash since I'm enjoing Lightning Wrap more, and I've added duration & ice golem to CWDT & ImmCall, but I'm not sure if those two are the best additions to CWDT setup for this char. Any suggestions? Also I'm not 100% sure how to proceed now. Below is my gear: I've got crappy jewels atm and I'm wondering if there are any passives you'd recommend instead of jewel slots before I get something worth socketing? BTW if anyone's interested here's what I've paid for the gear over the last 3 days: 104c (4x 26c) Poet's Pen 100c Inpulsa 80c Berek's Grip 12c Esh's Blessing 170c Voice of the Choir I'd say the rest of the slots + 15% arcs were around 20c 486c altogether. My buy order was 4x poets for leveling, Inpulsa at 68, Berek and now Choir. Would recommend, I've had a blast. Last edited by viray on Jun 7, 2018, 9:26:27 PM

How would you say this works for hardcore? Ended up getting two pens and I love the witch, it sounds like it'd work well but just want to make sure!

The random teleporting around with lightning warp might get you into a hairy situation every now and then, until you become used to it and learn how to controll it. So I would say it depends on how used you are to something like that.
I'm ripping through about everything. Did a T16 temple yesterday. Couldn't kill the minotaur though, but that might be because it was my first time facing him. Would appreciate any tips if someone of you killed him with this build, so i can figure out if I messed up the build mechanics or the boss mechanics :D

I levelled a deadeye to 75 first but didn't really like where it was going so as I had a little bit of currency and I remembered I saw this build before launch I decided to reroll.
As I was levelling my witch I kept poe trade open to snipe a Pen for about 25c. I had 50c in my stash so perfect to get me started. Got one Pen, put it in my stash. Later I got the second and just made level 12. Since I had what I needed I sold all the trash in my inventory.... oh what... where's my second Pen now?!?! OMG noooo... I was too fast selling all the junk in my bag and the Pen was gone. That put a dent in my excitement to start this. Was really angry with myself, such a noob mistake. Still, I had my mind set on this build, also because I dropped a berek's grip on my previous char so I continued levelling while still being heavily frustrated about destroying my last currency in this way. It turned out however that levelling with 1 Pen and a shield with spell damage works great as well. Cutting through the mobs and incursions with just an arc-crit chance-added lightning setup. Made it to 35 and having a blast. Often I fully clear the incursions with a couple seconds left on the timer. Can't wait for the work day to be over so I can continue. Question though... is there a point levelling frenzy and barrage? I am not sure how the mana cost increases but can't see a benefit other than a little extra damage. Also, saw some discussion about whether to go for Paragon of Calamity or Mastermind of Discord. I'm leaning towards Paragon as it seems to add a ton of survivability. With the buff to arc and ball lightning this seems the best choice for endgame. You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.

" There's no point in leveling frenzy or barrage; might as well keep them at 1. As for Paragon vs Discord, I can see the attraction of the no ele reflect but I plan on sticking with Discord for the lightning penetration mainly.
hc viable?
