[3.4] Teleports Behind You - Poet's Pen Lightning Warp & Arc, MF / Facetank t16 / Shaper / U. Elder

Hi,

The question has probably already been asked, but i didn't read all the thread.
Concerning ascendency skill, it's not better to take parangon of calamity insteed of mastermind of discord ?

- no more elemental reflect issues
- life leech
- defense against elemental dmg

Isn't that a loss of around 500 to 1k eHP?
I may be missing something.
Also I never felt characters with evasion to be that reliably protected against one shots.

I have a setup in my gloves with cwdt + immortal call + vortex + blind.
Also with the warlocks mark it feels good against Phys and with loreweave against elemental damage.

Most deaths are lags, chimera smoke phase, or some dumb shit darkness delve overcommitment

Starkonja's gives me ~30% chance to evade which is boosted by 150% when on 'low life'. Saved me quite a few times in Delve. Loreweave is armor/es which is useless if you have Acrobatics/Phase Acrobatics node. I would rather go for some Juggernaut build with that armor and since you don't like Evasion why go for this build? Evasion works better the more you invest into it.

Haven't tried Chimera yet with this build since I am only lvl 76 but Chimera smoke phase is very hard if you cant find him fast enough. I would probably try to use Grace/Vaal Grace in that phase or even better Aul's Amulet with 'Grace reserves no mana' option and Queen of the Forest armor. And If that doesn't work than simply skip Chimera. Another thing is, your cwdt setup might help you after you get hit while I like to be proactive and blind everything in my range to significantly lower chance of getting hit in first place.

That penetration from mastermind of discord is actually a significant boost to dmg against bosses. If you are not pushing endgame content then you can stay with paragon. Me personally I respected temporarily into reflect immune for farming Atziri and spamming corrupted maps with 8 mods :-)
Thanks for the build.

Currently lvl 94, farming t14 and t15.
This is the best clearspeed i ever have, vastly outclassing my old frostblade raider. The single target damage is also very good.
But i dont know how you manage to facetank boss. MoM + Dodge allow me to take a hit but i have to dodge everything i can. My gear is clearly not the best tho, especially my jewels.

I`m currently trying to push 96. Almost impossible.
Got killed in delve 2 times last evening.
Have blind binded to Herald.
I have 5500 + 500, and I have Vaal Pact.

Also I took 4 life nodes in the tree.
And I have +7% in each jewel.

Anyway too squshy. What one can recommend ?

(my last hope is that Unnatural Instinct might help)

Thanks

Hi, first ill follow your build since beggining,

Second i want to share a build with interaction of Yoke / vulkurs gloves to chill, freeze, poison, ignite and shock to boost dmg.

Used arc/lightning warp for clear and volatile dead for bosses... (i've inspired in your build to create this). Im playing scion ele / path finder. Ive played your build until now... :D

Is a little diffeenct from yours build but im thankful to your guide, that is amazing

GL

edit: im using some legacy itens (only because i want to min-max), but work with non legacy version... :D

Can you give me numbers on how high you get your evasion?
I might try it.
I tried to go around the mass evasion stacking, because I wasn't sure how high I could get it, and this is why I went for the endurance charges and immortal call, and after the call I only needed the blind.

Also from what I know chimera can't be dodged in smoke phase, so I took those deaths. They are not that often, but if I'm unlucky.
And so I hoped I had enough against physical damage, to survive normal damage that occurred.

I have one more question there, how good can you stand against elemental damage?
I have some problems against hydra. That is why I use loreweave. Or are you using a wise oak with another +max resistance flask that is needed?
can someone please help this noob here and post a link with full skill tree? the link in the original post has 88 points left and has a lot of unlinked nodes.

Thanks!

Considering people have previously pointed out that the build is having problems sustaing monsters' dmg later on, and I'm thinking about trying this build out.

To actually be able to facetank at least some of the higher-level content - how much currency will i need to spend - lets say to run T15 maps and not worry too much about dying?

I'm just a beginner so that's why I'm asking - if it does require a lot of currency I'll pass and try out some cheaper build.

I would say it is possible to go on those maps with 2-3 ex min.
I don't know the exact prices ATM, but I think 2 pens are at 15-20 c each, inpulsa should be 1 ex and to get viable gear in the other slots 1-1.5 ex should be okay at first.
It is important to get uberlab for this to work properly.
