Nice, i did that, tks. But i think i was looking to the wrong number. Ingame aps did not change, but on pob my barrage has 3.94 attack rate...

Yeah, that is too high, try to reduce the quality of your gems that give attack speed.

Yeah, that is too high, try to reduce the quality of your gems that give attack speed.


Before remove your gloves and check how much aps do you have. If you have 3.75, buy a new pair of gloves... Gloves without attack speed are a lot more cheap and they are more easy to find.
I have 3.75 aps with GMP/FA/LMP (20%), one Jewel with 4% APS and Coordination Node.

So has anyone found a good method for exploring the darkness in delves on this build? I got so used to a fast whirling blade + phasing on my 1st character that I just can't seem to find anything that works here. I'm talking about running into the darkness side zones as the cart advances, not going back to revisit everything.

LW is too clunky due to terrain, just running + phasing is sketchy as fuck since we don't have huge leech/life on hit. I seem to get stuck a lot on the way back from whatever chests/loot is in the darkness and end up dying (phase run doesn't have 100% uptime so can't just walk through mobs).

Dont use this build to do Darkness in Delve.

Hi, I'm having a lot of fun with this build (second character of the league) and rolled over everything till tier 15 (died from time to time to darkness -thanks to the flare button not taking command) and from time to time to random one shot. This, I can live with, even if it can be annoying. I have known some build that were tankier (thoug the MoM + mind of the council is impressive), but not many that were faster mappers.

However, I tried Minotaur and he just wrecked me... 6 portals later, I had died as many times to one shots (I tried to kite him but he teleports and instant kills) and put him a little above half his HP... Argh.


I had some ideas looking at the build of a poet's pen hierophant, that uses immortal call in PP, alongside an offensive skill + support (he uses volatile dead, but the principle is the same). What do you think of this idea (he says he gets permanent IC from it) and which gem would you replace in the "classic" setup for bossing (arc + ball lightning) ?

I got "VD destroys +1 body" enchant on my helm, which seems OP, except we don't play VD... But I thought VD + unearth could maybe replace the bossing setup, as the tree is not lightning oriented. Any comment ?

+ I don't understand the purpose of barrage. I'm wondering if I could not do better with just a 6 link Frenzy and some utilities (like CWDT utilities or so).

Last but not least, any idea of what I should improve now, gear or tree wise ?

Hello there! Im doing this build 3rd league in a row and every time tailoring it a bit to my taste so I can share my output.

Ok so first of all, to facetank the Minotaur it's all about timing your Stibnite Flask which you are missing. I think it is an important flask for this setup to keep some bosses perma blinded and missing most of the attacks. Jewel with chance to blind also helps but it is less reliable.

Have a look it's not hard to do even with my average gear. Also don't go too crazy with map mods on that fight like increased crit chance/multi.

The point of Barrage is to have a fast source of life leech on hit and this skill hits a lot per second. You kinda skipped GMP on your Barrage setup and thats why it feels useless. Author of the guide recommended to use Frenzy for clear speed and Barrage for single target fights but many (including me) skip the frenzy setup and go for Barrage only and getting 3.65 APS without frenzy charges. It's more comfortable that way even if we lose a bit of extra bonus damage per frenzy charge active. I see you have a CD belt so you probably aim for higher attack speed anyway.

For improvements I would say get the Stibnite Flask and quality on your gems that support your main attacks. Also Lightning Ball 21 does more damage than 20/20 one.

It's not that important but worth getting a decent roll. In the end we will need quite a bit of max mana for MoM so every bit helps.
