[3.4] Teleports Behind You - Poet's Pen Lightning Warp & Arc, MF / Facetank t16 / Shaper / U. Elder

so i got a 6-link inpulsa and i'm planning to use CoC with this buiild, what skill should i use with CoC?
Finally got all the gear together for this build in SSF and I'll start leveling today. One question though: I only have 2 Poet's Pens (chanced one of them!), and getting #3 and 4 will likely never happen. I assume for big boss fights I can just swap gems manually (although maybe the colors aren't right in the lightning warp pen?), but is it also necessary to swap gear for e.g. Incursion temple guardians and smaller boss fights? What should I be using offhand? Thanks!

I would just use Ball Lightning full time instead of Lightning Warp. It's not as fun nor as fast for clearing but its safer and with movement speed on boots and flask you'll still fly through and blow things up.

OK thanks! I'm getting a bit burned out on low-level maps from mfing anyways (and my mfer can equip way more mf gear), so I imagine I'll be spending more time in high level content and trying not to die. :)

recently specced into this character from self cast arc and i have to say this build is tons of fun!

used a bunch of random stuff i had lying in my stash and havent spent any currency yet.

anyone willing to look at my character (rudicrousss) and seeing what i can do to keep my ring setup while also making up for the missing sustain from berek's? one of the more obvious options is a lightning leech corrupted choir of the storm, but i'd like to explore other options too.

also, does anyone have a creative way to generate frenzy charges? i dont really like using frenzy in general and would like to drop the skill gem. i tried blood rage but it felt super bad. i guess more obvious option would be to get the 6L elder gloves with frenzy on kill and putting my barrage link in there?

Frankly I don't get the complaints about single target.

I am far from having optimized everything I could, and yet no bosses was particularly hard to kill.
Of course it's not an insta-kill build like Vaal Double Strike or Indigon shenanigans, but I did not feel any boss fight was particularly long. It takes some time, so you have to dodge stuff, and play the game.

So how do you feel your single damage is not enough ? How much time do you take to kill the minotaur or a T15 boss ?

I hear you yet I must say I feel different. I'm not pointing at a InstaKill Build but the Minotaur kill for example took me 3 currepted maps and the normal map later also all 6 portals for a quite easy map with harmless mods. T15 bosses are absolutely doable though, I agree. But higher content is not so easy ...
I did all 4 guardians on corrupted map, and except one Minotaur map which I could not complete (increased damage, increased AoE, increased life is very hard for this boss), all went OK with 0 or 1 death, and these were the first times I ever fought those bosses.

Same for Shaper, killed him without too much issue for the very first time, with 2 deaths.

When I pop all flasks (including a lightning penetration Vinktar and a Diamond flask) with Arcane Surge active, I feel it gives single target a few seconds enormous boost that is enough to handle all these bosses without much issue.
I have a 6-link Inpulsa, is there any benefit for having 6-links for this build? Should I sell it and get a 5-link and better gear?

Adding Blind to your Barrage links (or even LMP on top of GMP) could prove beneficial. I'd keep the 6L either way.

Would using Paragon of Calamity permanently be survivability overkill? Would love to be able to do ele-reflect maps and die less often, DPS already feels awesome.
