Also should I use the staff or sceptre + shield? My ES is kinda low when using staff.

You can use sceptre + shield. Staff is just a LOT more damage. You could always upgrade to the staff when you have better ES gear.

i am struggeling a bit to get to the needed lvl. can u go more into details for leveling? it is a pain from act 5 on :(

I just used ED and cont, with basic life and resists gear to level and farm till I got my DO colored and got decent ES gear to switch over to DO and CI.

Only unique I used was Dark Seer. That's the point of using ED/Cont, it doesn't need any gear to do damage. You seem to have good gear as well, it shouldn't be a problem. I don't really know how else to help :P

well...between 40 and 50 it was really hard. i died pretty often. but from then it was a piece of cake again. thank you :)

Another question: need DO to be 6 link or no link? are links irrelevant?

I'm at level 87 now and I can see the limit of its single target and tankiness now. Not as good as I expected. Currently at 6k8 ES with most of the good items except the Watcher jewel. However, it is definitely very fun and unique to play.

6L in only required for ED setup. Not otherwise.

You don't have 20/20 gems which is huge for spells, or level 21/20 ED, or the Grey Spire (which is like 25% more dot damage for both DO and ED). I'm sorry but you haven't seen the limit.

do the betrayal guys become easier later on?

I am still grinding this char to until 91-92 or so, by then I will have the 20/20 gems. Already got the Grey Spire but to use it, I will have to replace other gears for better ES number but then it will get really expensive, the watcher eye with only the ES gain when affected by Clarity is already 6ex++ and to use ED I will have to 6L the chest as well :(.

They should, but I'm not playing this build in Betrayal so idk.

Hello, I'm aware you are not playing this in 3.5 but I was wondering if you could take a look at my character. After struggling to get capped resistances I am now sitting at 79% each, with the necklace slot waiting to be upgraded to an impresence. Unfortunately my ES is lacking, sitting at around 4500~. Also my run speed is severely low.

Current upgrades I'm waiting on...
Impresence- Waiting for funds
Allelopathy- Have it, but no beastcrafting for Aspect.

Any advice? Otherwise I am having a blast with this character, thank you for writing this up.
