Holy shit, I switched from Soulrend Trickster and only did like 15 maps to this build and I'm at the beginning of act 5 now. The game play feels 50 million times smoother and easier. I should've switched sooner.
So I'm enjoying this build, but I think I've hit a wall in terms of what it can do.

I'm looking at POB and it's showing my minion dps around 100k. How can I get that a lot higher? A friend of mine has very similar gear to me, except one more +1 wand than I do and their minion dps in POB is showing 700k almost.

And then I have spirit offering constantly going off, always in fear of dying. I've would of been 92 easily by now, but I just get randomly one shot by god knows what because map bosses and metamorph bosses take 1min+ to kill with my minions somehow.

Any idea what I can do to get the surviving and dps up so I want to keep playing this build? Because at the moment I don't even want to play it because regular t15 maps are a slog for me and I'm always dying =/

The wands will make a huge difference. You're missing a glove enchant for minion damage, too.

Are you making use of flesh offering?

The build is squishy, I don't think there's any way around that. Basically hang as far back as possible and let your minions run ahead to wipe out mobs.

It seems like you're trying to tackle t15 maps before your damage is up to it. Wands, proper enchanting, etc will all help. The wands alone almost tripled my skele damage output.
Even just a +1 wand on each weapon? I def. do not have the currency for 2x +1 spell and +1 minion wands yet.

If I put another one of my +1 minion wands (exact same one) on my second weapon slot, it actually lowers my minion dps by 4k.

What options should I be enabling/looking at in POB to get my true dps?

Increased minion damage is the glove enchant.

Staying back/keeping myself away from mobs has been my biggest help. I almost never see spirit offering trigger because I'm just never close enough to be hit.

It's more than just the +1 on the wand that helps. You want increased minion damage there too.

Between my helm, two wands, and glove enchant, I have 124% increased minion damage. Not to mention the attack speed and movement speed boosts that help with extra damage.

I mean, yeah, it's comparatively decent as far as defences go. But there's a reason it uses Meat Shield with the Zombies and Spirit Offering. Overall, at the higher levels, I've found it far better to just stay away and let my minions do exactly what they're supposed to do. There's no reason to be face tanking anything and most things don't live long enough to do that anyway.
This build has been amazing!!! Thank you for the guide. Cheapest minion league starter I've ever tried. Played golemancer last league which was insanely expensive. My 2her cost 10ex alone to craft lol. I don't have anywhere near 10ex into this build and it feels extremely strong. 8.6k eHP currently balanced with MoM. Clearing t16 maps with no issues. I've been pretty lucky with finding things, but overall my total cost is probably 6ex with buying bases, crafting, etc.

If you're looking for a minion build this one is blast. Vaal Summon Skele is amazing as death surrounds everything around you!
