[3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build

I'm still leveling but how do you get the minions to follow you around?
So I just got a new pair of Boots for my Necro. And I'm wondering which one to choose

New one:


Old one:



I really wanna wear the new one because the overall stats are a lot better than my old ones, but my old ones got this one Mod which boosts my Zombie Gem Level by 1

So my two Questions are can the Max Gem Level for my Raise Zombie Gem exceed the cap of Level 20 through it and which of those boots the better choice would be.

I have been working on crafting a good "+1 to all minion skill gems" convoking wand, and I noticed that "+1 to all spell skill gems" affects all of the same gems, plus the supporting spells (flame dash, flesh offering, etc)

Spell skill also increases the level of the cwdt gems (enfeeble, spirit offering).

Wouldn't "spell skill gems" be superior to "minion skill gems" for this build? Also, is there any issue with increasing the level of the cwdt gems from the recommended levels to get them to cast properly?

I am a complete noob at POE. I have started this build and ran into a problem. In the Act 1 levelling guide it says to socket Melee Splash Support. I bought it from Nessa, but it is level 2 and requires 21 strength, and I only have 14. Am I doing something wrong?
For one skill point why are we not going into minion instability?

Yes, in this build, spells +1 is same as minions +1.

For example i got this wand for 1.5ex

Try looking for same stats but with +1 minion gems, its going for 5+, which is just plain stupid.


+1 spells is so underrated, it doesn't make any sense... And seems like not many people know about it.



On a side note, i have killed Sirus 5 times so far and last 2 times deathless. Pretty easy fight on skelle build, especially with taunt/blind eye which i use for hard bosses. With ~900k dps per skelly, on his last phase he doesn't even have time to cast his 3way cage, lol...

The only problem I see with this is that the All Spell Skill Gems mod can only roll a +2, whereas the Minion Skill Gems can roll a +3. That extra level makes a huge difference.
Just curious, is getting a level 21 spectre gem really worth it? Is it that much of a difference having 4 over 3?

It helps a little with uptime of charges but just imo it's not worth it, if there's better stuff to upgrade. (If you don't have it level 21 vaal skellies is such a treat to have)
How's the build faring with deep delving?
