Its good for bosses too. but, not as near as strong as the strongest skills in poe. but not everyone wants to use the same bosskiller skills over and over again. so if you want the skill tectonic slam, you can do the build. if you do a dual wield build with tectonic slam, like this one:

you can easily switch to blade flurry as a boss killer too if you later get to the conclusion that tectonic slam doesn´t feel strong enough for you.

150k per ball dude. Have you never used Molten Strike before?

With Ancestral Call, it's 22 balls if you position yourself properly on a single target. Obviously, not all of them would hit the target but it's easily higher than 1 mil.

And that's with my current ok-ish gear (only using a +2 proj helm).

How did you managed to roll 2 int and 3 str (or 4) on the belly? I used 300 chromatic and it doesn't want to...
I like the setup of this build, but I don't like Staves, so I kept most of the nodes as they are, and switched the stave nodes to 2 Handed Mace Nodes instead. I'm using the Tidebreaker. I love it, works GREAT!!!
As chest armor the good old Brass Dome comes to mind.


Against physical damage it's great, 30k armor with this build without any additional points in defense. That helps a lot, and even agains big hits absorbing 1 or 2 k of damage helps more than just 400 life more.

Even against elemental damage it helps - avoiding the elemental crits, and making the common "Monster deal extra critical damage" harmless. I think many of elemental 1-hits at bossfights are crits.

i personnally realy dont like all the squishyness of the build. i followed it until uber lab content and tier 9-10 maps, then it became too hard , getting often OS .
couldnt do uber izaro because of random OS

so heres my take on the build,
Cons: i sacrificed about 1k hp, and 100 k dps in order to get MUCH tankyer., no curse

pros : total cost : ~8 exa, ( Hegemony 6l is 6 exa)
immune to bleeding,
immune to stun,
87 % physical mitigation without endurance charges.( was ~ with this build)
8 endurance charges total, 5 seconds + immortal call
no physical damage (lightning and fire)
enough damage to clear t15 maps easy


need to change at rings


this is just standing in town, no charges, no pots

Curse I took my lazy standard setup: put a enfeeble on a CODT, perhaps instead of molten shell.
It works wonder on hard trash (beasts, crowdy breaches) and the 10% less damage on bosses helps, too.

I'm doing T8s at the moment (slowly climbing up maps), and since brass dome I didn't get a single one shot anymore - a bit uber Lab farming included. Was ultra squishi before, despite a 4 second IC setup. The no extra damage from crit is underrated, I think. Chaos damage is the worst at the moment, at -40% the few chaos damage bosses are hard.

I don't use a IC anymore at the moment - better to keep the charges additional to the brass dome.

The build doesn't have much damage, still no 6-link but even with it's not that high damage compared to other crit builds.
That's cute, I have 35k armour only standing around without flasks not even using determination beause 1 brass dome is worth a ton more than that entire crab set :DDDDD

What Pantheon are you guys running with this?
If we convert to full fire with AoF. How do we leach life? And how are you guys getting resist soft cap with so many uniques? I am hitting a small wall around T8-T9 alched maps.
