*Updated for 3.2* Volkuur's poison! millions of dps (7.5 mil shaper - 20 mil shaper GG gear)

Can someone tell me whats wrong with my build? Here is PoB https://pastebin.com/WQBj7zsH
Pob is giving me really low dps numbers. I know I'm not fully geared yet but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Chance to poison is being highlighted bright red when showing node strength so I must of messed up somewhere. I did make some minor mods but it seemed to work well in PoB before I actually went to build the char.

you dont have master herbalist. this is the absolutely best ascendancy point for this build and is recommended to get as soon as you can with normal lab. it will boost your chance to poison to 100% and give decent damage.

try to get a better coralito's flask with longer poison duration. i recommend 70% inc duration +++

your jewels are pretty bad. look for double flat lightning rolls that have at least 50 base damage combined(so roughly 1-100 lightning damage per jewel). also try to get more jewel slots. you dont need master of the arena. as long as you have a low base dmg, you can consider using wrath to boost your damage.

use a basalt flask, will improve your survivability!

get some accuracy rating, your chance to hit seems too low.

your maloneye's nightfall is pretty useless as long as you dont have any %chance to blind on hit on your jewels.

Yeah you are right it seems master herbalist is what I am missing to cap my chance to poison. I have respec some points into chance to poison until I can complete the Uber lab. Most of my jewels have over 50 lightning damage. I did sacrifice two jewel slots. I can try using wrath as well I just don’t like it taking up half my mana. I also need to level up my gems some more.

Wouldn't think of working with poison in 3.1. Surprised it works so well. (In the late endgame)
The builds's name could have been more creative tho. (What came to my head writing this: The pale viper)

i went for additional phys dmg reduction. its personal preference. a lot of pantheons are viable with this build. poison immunity seems to be pretty cool too.

i was thinking doing something similar with a occultist hybrid for hardcore.. the flasks chaos dot however shatter my dream(cant have a degen for the es recharge) anyway to build around this?(with a bow ci is not a option)

i dont think that occultist is a good choice. you miss a lot of chance to poison and would have to invest heavily on tree for it.

this build is made for quill rain and not spells. i dont think that ball lightning will come anywhere near the dps of quillrain. the added lightning dmg to spells isn't as good as added dmg to attacks on jewels. also, the casts/second are far worse than a quillrain build.
