For 3.2 I want to drop avatar of the veil and go for avatar of the chase, no ailments immunity but felt like going to be faster. Would you advise?

" If you look on the previous page someone else had a similar question and I gave pros/cons as well as a few Passive tree links if that's what you're interested in. It's really upto personal choice in the end. I haven't been playing this build at all this league, only the slayer version and working on a Templar version of the build, but I do have a free respec on standard I could use to play around with avatar of the chase. Take a look my post on the previous page for the links. Guys I tested this build got to level 90. Have to say this is the shittiest build I've ever played on. I switched it up I'm at 8.1k health and use Mind before Matter. I'm running T14's no problem.

So.... enjoy? :D Build has worked perfectly fine for many others and since you've already made heavy changes(zero cold cenversion and this is a 90% cold conversion build... crit build not RT and so on) I can't really say if you were doing all that you could or missing some key aspect. Glad you're currently having fun with your own version though! " Haven't got around to testing it myself. I don't see it working as well for a specific elemental build but better for an 'any elemental' build. I may be misunderstanding how the effect on it works but I assume it's the same as Doomfletch. To revisit the comment made by XPrevailX, I specced my lvl 92 raider back into this build and ran 5 or so random alched t14s(palace and crimson temple mostly). The build completely destroyed the maps and bosses... soo I'm unsure what issue you were having. Maybe you were trying to push content with subpar gear? I can only guess at this point.
I did a few more maps with Avatar of Slaughter and Avatar of Chase and the combo is quite good. My only issue with it is having to worry about bleed AND freeze. Using death's door with slaughter/chase combo would make it safer and only have to worry about freeze immunity but that cuts out one more rare which we need for resists. Regardless, slaughter/chase is a good ascendancy combo. | |

The issue was that there is no survivability unless your literally leeching off mobs. If you don't leech for 1 second your literally dead in a millisecond. This build is way to squishy and don't enjoy getting set back in exp. I'm doing 2x the dps right now and 5x more tanky and I'm using a shield.
Squish squish squish and more squish. Cyclone your getting up close and personal so there is no reason you should be squishy as a cyclone build. Cyclones are tanks, and this build is just not tanky AT ALL. Last edited by XPrevailX on Apr 2, 2018, 10:34:44 PM
