If HoGM means the grandmaster map thing, I did it on my first time getting that map even though I had never done it before with that build. So it's definitely viable. I doubt it's good for farming it though, but I'm not a good player so if I can do it, better players might find a way to farm it efficiently.

How you did it? My Animate Guardian (with 35k hp) died in less then 2 sec (not saying about zombies, spectres). Any advises very appreciated. I`m planning quit build for this reason :(
Never tried with the zombiener too but i think easiest - safest - quickiest of my builds is the arc trapper

A quick question to OP or anyone using this build. His resists would be lower than 75% if cursed or on ele weakness map. Is this the case for many or is it just about investing even more currency into build?

Did anyone use different armour or perhaps even gloves? if so what? I will not be using haste and was thinking to use Discipline instead as I want to use a storm call CWC setup instead and also want to be able to summon zombies so I want extra mana.
I have enduring cry that lets me keep my resistances up in case of getting cursed. I also tend to carry a warding flask.

I would never ever touch "Raise Zombie" gem again - it is sucks as hell.

You are right, zombiemancer is NOT viable for HoGM.
Most of summoners aren't either, even that funny spidermancers.
You will have a little chances with SRS as (any) summoner, but that's it

Talking about the AI here? Ya it sucks but this build in particular makes it kind of bearable. With Convocation CD going down now, it should be even a bit better.

I currently have 1218 strength, and have followed the gear guide/build/etc. however can still only summon 6 skeletons...not sure what is wrong?
