[3.6] Zombiemancer - High Survivability - End Game Viable
I really miss having manual convocation (because i'm so tanky that my zombies can't keep up unless it's a giant monster pack), but I need the Enfeeble to nerf the syndi members, and summon holy relic to keep my ES up when fighting syndi members
So I was thinking, since we barely have any keys to press, wouldn't it be a good idea to remove convocation from CwDT, and place it on manual cast? I don't need to have convocation when I'm in "danger" when I can time it manually, and since the cooldown is so short with ascendancy + lvl 20 quality, I feel it's a good decision to place it on manual, saving a gem skill slot. " Damn, Thx Holy relic was what my build missed!!! i replaced minion life on baron for this pretty little sign. this buff is rly nice. like a gratis enchant from stone golem. I feel pretty strong and tanky. till t12 with all mod works pretty well even with 60% crit multi and 89% to ele damage. On higher maps my zombies die sometimes. may i have to replace something for minionlife. not sure. i wait till i got empower 4 and zombie gem 21. Then i will decide. Multistrike with 2 violent of dead works fantastic. bosses die faster then an explosion. Dread banner works fine for me. Syndicat is rly ez after this patch and with vaal discipline and increased duration i can tank a trouble instance for a while.
and yeah... Convocation is what iam missing too... but i have no more free sockets... Unset ring would be fantastic. Sometimes my zombies doesnt attack on large tubemaps because the creeps in front of them didnt take aggro, and then is that just a fucking big clusterfuck blocked and i stay alone in creepwaves....

For endgame type of gearing:
If we are considering corrupted gloves, what is the best curse on hit to apply? Enfeeble seems like the obvious defensive choice, but Temp Chains might work too? Or is Vulnerability best as a more offensive choice? Also, I had someone recommend a Baron with a %life regen per second corruption for this build. Is that better than the stone golem enchant? Watcher's eye? I assume that Mana gained as ES is probably the best mod, but any other good ones to keep an eye out for? |

Is there a image of the Final Tree?

" Those curses are rather low level and bosses have huge amount of curse reduction, so it doesnt really matter that much what curse you get. I would probably choose Enfeeble over Temp Chains for the defense one. I didnt even know that corruption existed. Just compared it to the stone golem one in PoB and the corruption is less regen overall. Probably comes down to what is easier to get. Might be even worth to corrupt some barons, since they are all only 1c. You would have to use the right aura for the Watcher's Eye. Squeezing in Clarity somewhere for the "mana as extra es" mod. And also have enough strength to use up a jewel slot. The Haste and Hatred mods are all pretty useless. Discipline ones might be worth using if you want to give up Haste for it. " Not sure what you mean, the tree in the guide is level 95. This should be final enough. You can get life, strength or the flask nodes with the extra 5 points after this. |

I was wondering about your thoughts on war banner (Sorry if you addressed this in one of the 100(!!!) pages of replies. I managed to snag a mana reduction shield so I'm able to run it in a spare socket. The accuracy and nearby enemies take extra phys seem really good (at least in PoB). Have you tried it out at all?
Thanks for the fun build, i've never cleared high level content this easily before.
" you need to run T16 maps (elder maps) with 8 mods before you can really give an opinion on syndicate members lol. that's the point where my animate guardian actualy died in 2 seconds, i've never seen that before in 3.4. I should had screenshotted the map mods. My 7 zombies died in 0.5 seconds (the boss used this circular "frisbee" skill coupled with Lightning extra damage, where the skill flies back to him, and it shredded all my minions including spectres to death in 0.5 - 2 seconds). i haven't played any T16 maps these past 2 days because farming syndi members in Blood/Harbour is very very profitable, but I'm prepping my elder blob to move over to Elder Underground Seas and stocking up on Shaped Belfry/Pier to do T16 sustain when syndi drops gets nerfed (having a great time farming Tora in Research) Hint: Tora gives 200m exp to a gem, in Leader you can do it twice. If you +20 quality to Empower, that 200 exp becomes DOUBLE, so you can do 800mill exp on a gem on a Tora safehouse in Leader. I'm at 6L geofri's and got 14 exalts leftover from farming syndi (tora is not the only profit maker here, hint: Vorici + crafting), so the only thing to do right now is brainless farm syndi in low level quest maps people pay a lot for these 28% quality + 3 white sockets on 6L Another question: Is there a better jewelry choice to increase my tankiness? I have 2x violent dead with corrupted 5% minion damage, brawn with mana reserve reduction, and my remaining efficient training are minion damage corruption. I got money to blow, so very open to expensive jewelry to replace a violent dead because my main concern is dying to syndi (does Unnatural Instinct work in this build? It costs 9ex atm) Last edited by mjaaay on Dec 20, 2018, 1:45:18 AM

" I dont play this build this league, so I rely on feedback here on how the new content works with this build. As you said, it does look good in PoB. It's 15% more damage for their normal attacks (slams already have 100% accuracy, so it's lower for that). A mana reduction on the shield is exactly enough to be able to use it. And we get the gem socket for it from dropping Enlighten too. We dont kill things, so placing and stages dont do anything extra, right? Not sure how War Banner exactly works. Im gonna add this to the guide, thanks! " I recommend to play around in PoB for min/maxing. If you get good enough strength on your rares, you might get more eHP out of rare normal or abyss jewels if you have the currency. Might even get it out of a Watcher's Eye, since it has both life and ES. Or you just blow your money on really good rares: resists + strength + life + ES. |

" Sadly we don't gain any stacks (maybe the occasional one) but nothing useful. The reason I place it though is that it stops reserving mana when it's placed and I can resummon a dead zombie with the mana. Then I just pick it up again. I'm still unsure about how good it is vs. something like flame dash. Obviously it's more damage, but a movement skill is something the build would really benefit from. I've found the syndicate encounters to be somewhat easy actually. Especially post-nerf. Just shield charge around like an idiot while the minions wreck face. Some issues with the mini-fortification where the minions cant all fit inside it. Some other things I looked at: Cyclopean coil - If you take the 30 dex node you end up with more dex than int and are immune to ignite and freeze. It feels really good, but I'm not sure it's worth the massive hp loss (this requires the loss of haste for purity of elements, or a couple skillpoints to get res from the tree). Blood of the karui - just got one from beastcrafting flasks, I think it's better than a life flask completely and I'll be using it instead. |
