Ye, can't see a reason for this to not be viable, it rather got lil bit stronger.
Not sure on the ascendancy since i would run spectres as well for single target.
Probably Commander of Darkness, Invoker, Soul Weaver, Mistress of Sacrifice.
Bone Sculptor instead of Soul Weaver if you wanna go Skelly only.
I wouldn't go bone sculptor unless you are using melee skeletons

you already have echo so 2 casts and you cap out skeletons anyway
The accuracy bonus does nothing for skeletons
+2 skeletons is not enough to get to the next dead reckoning jewel at 15


you are better off with puppet master long before you should bother with bone sculptor imo

You save a jewel slot (from dust) + some skill points to get to 10 skelly it also gives 40% inc dmg.
For pure skelly thats better than cast speed on kill and 30% dmg, i cant see any reason to go puppet master over Bone Sculptor.

Hey Shareware I'm using your skele mage build but without the spectres. (I don't like spectres all that much) Anyway, I wanted to ask you a couple of questions if you don't mind..

1. It seems that one intelligence node is not in range of the top dead reckoning jewel so I have total of 9 mages instead of 10. Should i invest in 1 more int node and get 10 or should they stay at 9?

2. Since abyssial jewels are insanely good should I just replace to dust jewels wit good abyss rare ones? to dust looks a bit obsolete to me anyway especially now that abyss jewels are a thing...

3. Which ascendancy nodes do you recommend for pure skele mage build? Now that they have changed I can't take all of them so I need to sacrifice one... I was thinking Commander of darkness, mistress of sacrifice, Invoker and bone sculptor. I would need to pass up on puppet mistress but i can make up to the 12 attack speed and 30 dmg with some abyssyal jewels..dunno.. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

2. damage wise to dust should still be better since you cant get alot cast speed otherwise, for defense abyss jewels are better.

thats not about the jewel, the jewel convert up to 5 skelly warrior per jewel to mages, if your skellys cap at 9, you wont get more than not matter how many dead rekoning you got.
what ever jewels are affordable its personal preference in the end.

Tested it just now however i get 11 skele without from dust, however it seems it overwrite some of my mages with skele warriors... any idea why is that? I'm a bit confused now...

Followed your skill tree to the letter btw...
