[3.1] The Blinding Blizzard - Whispering Ice Berserker - Viable for Most Everything
" wow i play this game since closed beta and dont realise how to do the things efficent. Thats a great idea with master. I should have it by myself but i am so brainless sometimes. I always thought how ppl can lvl masters so fast without rotations. Now i know ;-) thanks. |
|
" Uh, I'm obviously missing something. Having a second char just gives you two dailies a day, not one. How does that give you a level 6 master in two days?
Also want to hear about that "efficient" way to farm masters. Don't get it at all.
What do you need 2nd acc for? Pseudo master-rotation, or something like that? |
|
Will this skill tree be affordable to do the changes you may or may not do in 3.1?

" Any time you find a master, invite your alt (that sits in hideout otherwise). This will level both of you at the same speed. Of course, it depends on how much you play. But the expansion is getting released on Friday, so then you have a whole weekend at your disposal. Just make sure to level both chars so that they can enter each other's zones. I typically get to Act 9 and farm that a little if I don't have the items for mapping yet. Getting to lv 5 is easy enough. And then you have two characters with lv 5 dailies, which helps a lot in getting to the magic lv 6 that unlocks most of the good mods. Do a global 820 rotation with the main, then give him a daily from the alt. Two days = 2x lv 5 rota + 2 extra missions + whatever you find while farming currency = lv 6 with an average luck. Not quite 'twice as fast', that was a bit of a stretch, but that extra daily is nice, and most importantly you don't waste any missions that you find while farming on the alt - the main always progresses. Any time the alt finds a master, do the mission and get a new instance. If you are lucky enough to get the items for your main early and can progress without farming on the alt - sure, don't need to do that. But if you have to stop and farm, use that to level the masters at the same time. ETA: Masters for this build = Elreon, Haku, Vorici. Whichever one can make a hideout first, take it and invite the one with the 2nd highest level. And then at lv 5 invite the 3rd one and Zana. Catarina and Tora can wait until lv 7, you can use their benches without inviting them. Vagan and Leo you don't need at all. Last edited by Kelvynn on Dec 7, 2017, 12:13:50 PM

" This is the magic part I don't understand. How can you do that given only one login to an account can be active at any one time?
" GGG allows running 2 PoE clients (Standalone and Steam) on the same computer at the same time and Alt-Tabbing between them. PoE accounts are free. You don't need to buy anything for the alt account. I have a 2nd account just to make the farmer alt at the start of the league, until my main character is ready to go and the 3 masters are lv 6.
" I feel like a person who just had an awesome magic trick explained to them, and realized, oh, how obvious, how did I miss that? I didn't know you could run two PoE's at the same time on one computer. Thanks for the heads-up. (OK, you don't even need steam -- you can use two separate emails and run things at the same time.)
