Two-toned boots have an obvious flaw: if you enchant them, you lose the resist implicit mod. So don't count on those extra resists.

Yes, they are temporary. I am looking for both boot and glove replacements. Thanks.

@Kelvynn : should we not take the socket with light and cold resit? It's cost 6p with just 20 strength and some res. We can take 2 others sockets, 3 point each. + 2 int and 16% mana. We can cap resit with rare amulet, or even resit on 2 jewel.
And is 15% life better or a jew with 7% life better? ( 3 point in life or 3 point to get a socket)

Which sockets are you talking about?

The balance between life and damage is up to you. I started feeling comfortable with survivability at 6k (i.e. stopped getting 1-shot by almost anything)and after 6.5k stopped worrying about adding more life. Initially I was just taking life nodes, but at lv 95 found myself with 7.3k life looking more like an HC player than SC. So I traded 3 small life nodes for the socket between Witch and Shadow, lost about 400 hp but gained 1k tooltip dmg. I didn't see any change in survivability, but noticed that T16 and the Shaper die faster.

I mean the socket between witch and shadow, the one near elemental equilibrium, and may be the one near avatar of fire too. take these instead of the socket with resis node.
Here my tre https://www.pathofexile.com/fullscreen-passive-skill-tree/3.0.1/AAAABAECAQPuBAcEswj0DkgPqxBYES0RlhZvFr8W6Rg8GFYaOBpsHNwdFB2-HwIhkCQ3JIskqiUnJpUnLyj6KU8qOCycLR8zhzWSNsU26TrYPC1Bh0VHSU9Ms1BCUEdRdFVLVcZWSF1JXfJfKl_QYeJmVGebakNtGXuMf8aCm4LHg1-DzIPbg_eExYUyhXuHZYw2jumPGo9GkFWTJ5Ugly2YV5u1na6hL6IAoi6io6aZpwiuPq-Nr5u1BLc-uJO8qrzqvSe-ir8IwGbB88M6xq7QH9Wm2CTYveNq5CLkUeoQ6-Tr7uw47w7v6_hf-ej-Cg==?accountName=ngtrungkhanh&characterName=WhisperingIceBerserker
FYI: I went and cleared the T15 Beachhead map solo to check if it would crash. It did not crash. I didn't have to change anything in the normal setup, except using Yugul as the minor power because it's more useful in that map.

Of course, if you do it solo you get less xp than in a group. But it looks like in this case the bugs are with the interaction between different skills that different builds use. Or maybe just the sheer amount of drops in a group.

Here my tree

The socket between Witch and Shadow is always worth taking if you level to at least 93. It's up to 70 value (with Izaro) for only 3 skill points. So let's consider it taken and look at the other ones.

The socket below Scion gives you 1 jewel (let's say 45-50 value), 66% total resists and a little bonus life and AR - for 6 skill points. This can buy you 2 other sockets instead: the one near AoF (with an extra 8% inc dmg) and the one near EE/Shaper (with 8% inc mana but that's too insignificant).

To almost break even on resists, you need to have +10% All Res on each of them, and then some damage or Int. We aren't going to consider 4-mod jewels here that have 10% All Res + 3 mods good for this build - that's just not going to happen unless you are very lucky or rich. So you are looking for 2 jewels with 10% All Res + 2 useful mods, or 4 dmg mods between them. The good mods are 12-16 value, let's say 14 average, we can't really be picky. So about 56 total value, plus 8 from the socket near AoF, 64 total.

That's definitely better than one jewel, even a very good one, but requires finding some pretty specific jewels. With more resists on gear you need less on those jewels. So if you have really good items you can make this work even better.

But it's not easy to balance. The flexibility of having a swap ring is definitely worth 10-20 inc damage. And the less resist you have on your other ring, the easier it is to find more Int/Life/damage on it. Consider this: finding an Opal ring with good Int and Life without needing a lot of resist on it gives you an 25% inc dmg mod right there - and that is already as much as you can get from the whole thing with the jewels.

It's definitely an option, I'll add it to the list of things you can do at high levels when you are well geared. But for the main build, especially at the start of a new league, it's much easier to just take the resist nodes and go with common jewels.

No idea then. I've just checked with Chrome, Firefox, MSIE and Edge, all work just fine. It's something on your side. You must be having the same problem with other current build's trees too.

Aaaaaand my next solo Beachhead crashed at the very end :(
So that's still happening, just random.

Is 20 int (27 int with +18% on staff and +15% on helmet) better than 8% increased elemental damage?

27 intelligence is:
+13 Mana
+5% ES
+2.7% increased spell damage

Did I miss something?

Yes. Intelligence also scales Whispering Ice Damage (Every 10 int = 1-3 base added damage).

My tooltip states 8712 Avg Damage without flask or Arcane Surge. Removing 54 intelligence (Fertile Mind Jewel - technically more because of staff 18% and helm 15%) drops it to 8192. Removing Izaro's Jewel (49% increased spell damage for my rolls) drops it to 8090 damage.

54int = 8712-8192 = 520 tooltip dmg ---> 9.6dmg/pre-scaled intelligence
49% inc dmg = 8712-8090 = 622 tooltip dmg ---> 12.7dmg/%SpellDmg

So back to your original example,

20 intellegence = 192 tooltip damage, Mana (which serves as life), and some insignificant ES.
8% = 102 tooltip damage

Add in scaling from flask and arcane surge and it'll be even more skewed towards the raw intelligence.
