[3.3] Bleedquaker - 300k+ DPS on a Tank - Block/HP, Explosions - Atziri/UberIz/T16
Does this build work after bleed changes ?
| |
This build was intended to leverage the bleed changes :) The new Keystone which was revealed today is a nice buff for boss fights. After the next beta Patch I will update the thread.

" Is this still relevant? I'm not too familiar with the beta gems, but I suspect we get high enough bleeding chance without Vagan crafting?
There will be two versions of this build probably. First version for normal users without 100% bleed from axe and without lab enchant on head. Second version with both, giving a lot more damage. The version you see right now is the full investment version with +1 curse anvil and a good 1h weapon with flat phys/ inc phys prefix and open prefix craft for 100% bleed.
I will add the "budget version" later :) Last edited by raggapaul on Jul 26, 2017, 4:13:30 AM

50% from gladiator
25% from gem 30% from tree shouldnt need the wep craft in any version?
I changed the gem setup as well as the tree. We only get 25% from gladiator now. Check the new tree and gem setup :)

Yeah, this was exactly what I was thinking, but you no longer get Blood in the Eyes ascendancy keystone? Are the Frenzy charges gained that much more beneficial?
//So the Chance to Bleed skill gem is purely for the physical damage increase then? // EDIT: Ok, you changed the skill gems as well. Are these changes tested? You seem to know what you are talking about from your previous replies, but now there are lots of changes going on and we haven't even seen the 3.0 patch notes yet... =) Last edited by Bizze79 on Jul 26, 2017, 6:06:06 AM

Iam sorry, it is hard to keep track of the whole build and keep everything up to date. I tried a lot of different setups and sometimes I forgot to change the build thread accordingly :)
The frenzy charges are a nice buff. 12% increased attack speed + 12% more damage + 10% more damage. We also get additional 10% reduced phys damage taken. The benefits from Blood in the Eyes are weaker: - 6% damage reduction is almost on par with 10% phys reduction - 25% bleed chance is useless with the weapon we try to get - 30% maim is useless because shield charge, EQ and reckoning each have 30% chance to maim, too. Maim doesnt stack but has a duration, so this is a complete waste - 30% increased damage is far weaker then the 22% MORE + 12% IAS we get from Frenzy But please keep in mind that you need to have two perfect items for this: Helm with Lab Enchant + Axe with Flat Phys, Inc phys + Bleed suffix. Without both, it might be better to not use frenzy charges because the attack speed will be faster than the EQ delay. And without an 100% bleed axe we need to change the tree as well as swap melee phys damage for chance to bleed gem. Btw: FUCK, I just found another tweak to the tree. Will change it tonight.
I'm not sure about the changes you've made, but it's good that you are experimenting! I am building my own version of this and am experimenting alot with nodes and links hehe! I'm not really sure about skipping Blood in the eyes.. Basically you will only ever have frenzy and endurance charges vs normal mobs, when its boss time you will no longer generate your charges. And at boss times is when the actual dmg and defense from Outmatch and Outlast matter, I personally believe in blood in the eyes more!
And we already generate frenzy charges with Blood rage which is enough, i'm at max all the time
Well this is a matter of taste. Usually bosses have adds so you should have enough uptime to make a difference. If not, you can use a Writhing Jar to spawn some worms :)
If you try to build a Shaper/Uber Atziri runner, I would also use Blood in the Eyes. For clearing and normal map bosses, Outlast and Outmatch should be stronger. Blood Rage is not necessary, but as long as you dont need the life regeneration it gives a nice boost and doubles the frenzy generation. When you are done with your tree and gem setup, please post it somewhere so I can get some more input :) Last edited by raggapaul on Jul 26, 2017, 6:38:25 AM
