I would check things with innervate + icebite just to see how they are and make sure to test icebite when you are at full frenzy charges. For this im 99% sure increased crit is what will be dropped. So record your damage with golem + wrath + herald of ice + 7 frenzy charges I believe is ur max w/o the bandit being in yet on beta. Then swap inc crit strikes for innervate/icebite and check what your tooltip dps is with them. That is if you have a lot of chromes and would like to test it out. Elemental focus could be a huge dps upgrade over crit strikes as well now, but I really don't want to lose all the status ailment stuff on this build, as it does ignite, chill, freeze, and shock. For colors/its probably much better to test them in tabula. Belly is not going to add to your dps in anyway, so all white sockets will be a lot easier :) Also make sure all the gem levels are the same :/ Might be impossible to test on beta. |

I am returning with an attempt to make this build viable in HC. I've found my way to the scion life wheel without sacrificing too many of the dps nodes. Sacrifices have been made, sure, but the large amount of health is necessary for it to work. The life really IS what makes this build work combined with insta leech in HC. If you find room for improvement, feel free to comment.

I will still bet that ele weakness will be better damage wise, but we will have to see. Yes both freeze/chill and shock look a lot better now. Still doing 10% dmg to a boss or a guardian or something will never happen, but will have to test and see how they go. It is stated that 10% is the MAX effect now, so I am sure if you did less it would still shock/chill to a certain degree, will have to see. Don't think it will be worth a huge investment (on this build anyway) but again, testing required. " If you have soul raker for claws you do not need to get the big leech nodes at bottom. Of course this is hardcore and maybe you want to go for 3.2% life leech idk, 1.6% should be fine id think though. Rest doesn't look to bad (minus the fact u left out point blank) but you also have a 122 point skill tree, so gl with that :) |

I'll admit I haven't tested Point Blank at all this beta. On a scale of 0-10 how important is it for the build?

Before 3.0 it was sitting at about a 13 After 3.0 it will be sitting at like 18 Yes it is that important. 50% MORE damage multiplier at the very start of movement. This node is used obviously solely for boss killing and such when your sitting on top of the boss. So for guardians (lot of map bosses) shaper, atziri etc, it is 1 point investment for a 50% more multiplier. Its ridiculously good. After 3.0 ALL bosses under t16 have 2 to 2 1/2 TIMES the hp. That means single target + dmg will be more important than ever. If it wasn't for the new challenge to kill 1337 bosses, the vast majority of players would just skip bosses now after they got the atlas tick. So as you can see it will be vastly more important than it already is, and it is already vastly important. |

Refined build. As this point it may have too much HP. If such a thing is possible.

I never played a point blank character before, how is the less damage for general map clearing once you are at that higher Tier boss level? is your damage high enough to offset any slowness on white mobs? do you just not notice it?
