If anything super significant comes out, probably. Most likely any changes will be minor and not really build changing. So usually wait and see how league goes and changes can be thoroughly looked into and tested.

My best GUESS for patch is that raider will have some number reworks probably becoming a bit more potent. I highly doubt any real changes will come to ST gem itself or gear. But having ST gem itself get buffed would be AMAZING. The only other thing that would change for super super super end game content I could think of right now would be the mavena's orb (spelling? :P) which could increase something like your tailwind/elusive boots or the attack crit + -mana cost chest or something with dual modifiers... The problem with that is that you would have to buff one of these and THEN be able to exalt slam the opposite mod on it which would be insanely rare.

For example say we have tailwind/elusive boots. You would have to have either tailwind or elusive + some other mod... then you would have to mavena orb it and hope it hits the 50% chance to buff it, then you would have to exalt slam on either elusive or tailwind whichever one you didn't have. Personally these are going to be incredibly rare and hard to do for items that you want 2x influence mods on alrdy and think it will be much more likely to do for items where you only want ONE influence mod.

Anyway got a bit off track there, but ya will only updated b4 launch if there are any significant changes, will update changelog ofc once patchnotes are out, for now we just have to wait a few more days :).

So what do you think of the re-worked Ascendancy? Doesn't look like bad news for us? Permanent onslaught + phasing + 15% dodge instead of 10%? Better elemental exposure and fully buffed Avatar of the Slaughter?

Are you happy? Or am I missing something?

Going over a lot of ascendancy stuff now haven't fully looked through every node.

For raider....

I think the flat onslaught + phasing stuff is cool. We get buffed to -20% instead of -15% exposure and we gain 15% spell dodge and +5% dodge to attacks. We also gain (1% attack speed 1% movespeed and 2% dmg per frenzy (7 charges total usually) so comes out to 7% attack speed and 14% dmg per frenzy.

However we also LOSE

10% attack speed from way of the poacher
and then 40% inc ele dmg from quartz infusion.

The 40% inc dmg hurts a tad but -5% exposure and the 14% dmg make up for it. we get +7% attack speed but also lose -10% so total comes to -3% attack speed.

Overall I think it's mostly the same cept a SMIDGE less dmg but we also gain 15% spell dodge and 5% dodge so I call that a win.
