I'm no expert but i think it is because of the attack speed. you don't have to count only the dps of the weapon, but also flat dmg that comes from other sources (eye jewels and jewelry) that damage gets multiplied by the attack speed and thus improves your dps tooltip :D

" Both claws are not the greatest tbh... but to answer your question it is simply the APS. Even though you calculate the EDPS of the claw your attack rate is huge with this build or any fast attack build. 1.6 to 1.9 is a big difference. So even though the EDPS is lower the attack rate is much faster. |

Imo is like i said, i said is the attack speed too, but the motivation as to be the flat dmg he gets somewhere else, because the elemental dps is already calculated on the attack speed, so when he equip the weapon he should get more dps from the one who states to deal more ele dps, unless he has other sources of ele dmg (eye jewels and jewelry) happy to be contradicted if wrong

Any1 that have managed to kill uber elder with this build? Think Ive spent like 10 EX not on shaper sets and its so fucking hard :P.

" Yesterday i killed T15 elder (was my first time killing elder) I didn't know the fight well at all and i'm using half the gems i should be using so i think with proper preparation ofc u can kill uber elder. If possible i'll try it soon and let you know | |

Been playing EleBuzzsaw this season and have had a ton of fun with it -- it's super fast! Thanks for the excellent guide, it's very much appreciated.

Hey guys, Tombfists seems OP for this build, especially with 2 abyss sockets
Playing with Inpulsa and have a lot of fun, it's super fast build with very nice DPS, even with mostly not super expensive gear, got almost 50k in my ho with aura and golem, done all bosses, except uber elder in this league with this build. P.S.: profile is public so don't hesitate to check all gear if interested in. Abaxoth for map boss!!!

I've been thinking of trying this build out. I Have a 5L Shroud of the Lightless sitting around. I was thinking to maybe try it with that and Tombfist and just put as many Abyss Jewels into the tree as possible.
Do you guys think that's a valid option or is the Shroud not good enough? |
