you forgot offscreen LA crit (it's still kinda bad) and Pathfinder's inherent PVP superiority. Wouldn't say pathfinder is COMPLETE bullshit, but she's a bit too much the easy train to victory.

I agree that golems + beacon is rather ridiculous, when i saw that video that ziggy put out I was shocked by how much damage their chaos clouds would do. So while i'm not convinced srs + beacon needs to be banned just yet Golems should be banned until beacon receives some kind of PvP scaling.
I also wouldn't be against saying no trigger gems at all in PvP, the only question I would want to ask the guys still playing melee is if they have an answer to builds with insane movement speed. CwdT + flame dash seems like a good way for some builds to stay competitive vs 200ms builds. But if that's a non issue I say we ban trigger gems in the community run ladder. I find cwdt + flame dash more positive than negative in the current ranged/aoe instagib meta. It can be used as a defence against stacked instant damage, whisking the character out of the damage stack instantly after the first hit, saving the character's life and thus preventing the instagib. Without it, defence against instagibs would be a pure gear and build check.
Cwdt+fd can also be used offensively to close the gap to a mid ranged character. The opponent of the cwdt+fd character can also anticipate the cwdt+fd setup. And more than that, it's possible to use the cwdt+fd of someone else against him. Overall, I think poe pvp is better with cwdt+fd than without it. |

But flamedash is pretty broken when those cwdt builds use it vs melee too, build like Killara have is very strong with it.
Even if you kite them, they will pop right on your face. It s very hard to manage as a melee those casters cwdt+fd, unless you have 5 billions aoe lacerate. Poe Pvp experience

While cwdt+fd is the only way to survive stack of GC mines (for non-block build)
it rather makes pvp worse, it's same tier problem as offscreen oneshot. Movement, positioning, timings, reaction all that things are irrelevant if at least one person using cwdt+movement skills. it's 'free' cast each 250ms, wtf, why are 2x lvl 1 gems equal to 150% attack/cast speed? cwdt+lw turns any non aoe melee skill into pathetic bs, having 10+ aps (and relevant pvp reduction) and being able to hit target each 500ms at best is sort of bad joke from gigigi. " 1) single SRS chasing 6k hp/75% chaos res 50% move speed character through whole sarn arena and then it instantly dies from degen once SRS expired. 2) invisible LA chains form the air at the end of projectile range, oneshoting some 10k es newb. 3) lvl 60 cws/cwdt build kills 15k es no-block melee by single trigger. 4) stack of GC mines kills someone at spawnpoint 1 sec after round start. 5) cluster lightning trap (with proper setup) kills 10+ ppl in 2 screens around 6) 200% trigger radius cluster bear trap 'jumps' on single target ...to be continued Problem: impostor syndrome Solution: nerf everything Result: depressing mess Last edited by a_z0_9 on Jan 22, 2017, 3:43:52 PM
