If you're doing life-based melee, then just stick with cruel or the hidden medium-normal difficulty. Otherwise, just go blade vortex pathfinder. Check the Ranger Builds forums for a guide. I'd use the search to find it, since BV pathfinders are not something many players go with.

You could also go arc and tempest shield for double the arc and half the aiming (what's half of zero, anyway?)

-Discharger
-If you were on any bandwagon or jumped from bandwagon to bandwagon based on nerfs/buffs

I'm sure there's more but atm these are all that matter. I wont even call SRS cloud abuse a problem, sure it's annoying but compared to the above it's pretty fair.

Ya we're mostly all adults and it is a game. Doesn't change the fact PvP is what it is because of GGG's lack of effort and this "small" communities "big" bull shitting when it comes to who's "innocent" or "legit". Can you really be "egotistical" when you play lameness? That'd almost be blatant admission that you're a tard.

To be fair, I used Winter first (jk I totally copied mathil), but only because it was a cold-based enchant and it sounded neat. I didn't know it would be that obnoxious, nor that GGG could somehow make it even worse in PVP with the Dying Sun and all that shit.

Also I thought wormblaster was killed with this latest patch.

As for overlapping AOE, wouldn't really anything that uses more than one AOE count? Icestorm technically has overlapping AOEs, as does Glacial Cascade. I think the only real problem with blast rain is it doesn't have a Tvalue/reduction. I'd say overlapping AOE isn't that bad if they're not at exact same time. AOE shotgunning is definitely something that needs to be addressed though.



Oh, and what about mines and Pathfinder? I think her greatest thing is the status immunity for PVP. I kinda feel like they should rework her to only synergise with non-unique flasks, would probably help PVE a little too. Then we could watch the Pathfinder drop down to maybe double-digits 'cause muh vinktar's and muh clear speed

I don't see how im a problem by using 60% off all the things u listed EA/Zerphi's/AOE overlap/Discharge
Im generaly playing cool in sarn not bullying ppl just chilling there to talk with ppl, im not trying to climb the 1v1 ranking or i never claim to be serious about this build (obviously i know how broken it is u can ask ppl who speak with me on a daily base they will tell u that im not saying that its balanced , in fact im talking more about how stupid it is, but its a really fun build to play on PVE so its the reason why i keep it).

The problem is ppl who abuse them n trash on ppl for beating them of those who spend there entire time pvping with broken shit build instead of playing the game.

I think that Markusz is right n we should focus more on making those stupid mechanic more available to the PVE public this way it has far more chance of getting fix/nerf cuz obviously GGG don't care much about pvp, n i think im not the only thinking like that.

My only issue is with EA and zerphi tbh. There is literally NO DEFENSE against EA.

Resists? Penetration them
Evasion? EA bypasses that
Block? EA bypasses that
Dodge? EA bypasses that
Disabled shotgunning? EA works around that through AOE overlap
Armor? Lol obviously no effect

And on top of that let's add a flask that grants about 10k+ heal per second, and a flask class that gets you free extra projectiles, more AOE, max block WITH A BOW, immunity to elemental ailments, immunity to bleed, and whatever else I'm forgetting.

If you defend this combo you have zero skill or creativity and a very tiny brain. Probably a piny tenis also.

The concept of triggering skills off yourself while you sit still (afk) or by holding down 1 button (no aim required, don't even look at the screen if you're too busy to do so.) That can also 1 shot people due to either A. straight stupid damage balance B. aoe overlap C. poor PvP algorithm that doesn't properly take such play style into account....EVEN THOUGH there are many sources of this just from different angles i.e Hiltless,Scold's,Cospri's,CoC,Mjolnir,Wormtard.

Never mind how Zerphi's takes this to another extreme or how Pathfinder takes it even further...just focus on that one concept of stupid.

If you see that as defend-able or healthy for PvP then I'm to assume at least a portion of this community is fucked in the head.

Also Rlowe, you're right the status immunity among other things is why Pathfinder is so good in PvP. There's this guy that kept pointing out how well the East side of the tree is equipped for PvP. It's less the case now with Brass Dome and other mechanics but still status immunity is huge in PvP and they get that free.

I think we have said n all agreee that Zerphi's/EA is currently the most broken shit n shoiuld be #1 fix prioritie for GGG. Tho if u keep post BS like that w/o actually pointing out the real problem it won't change much.

The real problem with those shit again ill have to say it again: Those out there who fucking ruin ppl pvp experience by playing that fucked build in sarn/1v1/2v2/CTF n think that they are cool guy destroying ppl. No ur not WTF it took me fucking 30 sec to realize that this shit must be nerf/destroy cuz it cannot be balanced correctly other then a perma diseable in pvp. N since its broken n top 1 things hated u get a public chat in sarn that look exactly like pvp forum :( great way to get more ppl in HLD
