If you have a low skill ceiling, I agree that MOBAs can be a bit much.

I spent 3 years playing LoL for a total of just about 7000 hours(3.5 times as much as my PoE hours). Had the educational youtube channel and all.

I quit League at the end of season 4 because the changes for season 5 were awful and the game just got worse since. The meta was enforced. Everything catered to the esports scene which made high elo games really boring with the same champions being played all the time. Felt like playing an ARPG for a while, PoE was perfect, but no one PvPs. Battlerite comes at a perfect time, because I've spent the last couple weeks logging onto PoE trying to get Capture the Flag games going without success and then logging off.

I was in need of an actual PvP game and so far it's looking like I'll be playing mostly Battlerite. I'm not leaving PoE, but I'm definitely not gonna be doing much with it for the next few months at least.

Sadly fullscreen AOE skills make people vomit and that s all we got in poe right now.

Personally Battlerite looks pretty good, but I would see no reason to play that game for more than a month at best. PoE at least has longevity from the fact that you have to accumulate gear to better your build in addition to having to design your build.

As rlowe also mentioned, if GGG really took some time to focus on PvP, it would be quite amazing.

I do have my own pair of tits, it's called a wife.

Fun games are few and far between. Most games now a days imo are boring and shitty. When I want to casually play something to pass time I'll play an assortment of different fighting games, fight night championship bare knuckle mode, black ops 3, starcrafts ok for a bit, racing games aren't terrible, old console rpgs or whatever my kid is playing at the time....usually minecraft and I tnt everything to piss her off. If a games so terrible it's actually funny, id probably play it for a bit but not invest real time into it.

What I wont do is go out of my way to buy or download a game like LoL or DoTa or whatever. That shits gay and spawned a whole generation of anti PvP, anti Pk pussies.

Even if PvP is a joke in this game more often then not, I don't mind grinding high level maps and watching my currency tab fill up. Evident by the fact at lvl 100 that's mostly what I do and really have no interest in making a new character because the early content is sloooooooooow and boooooooooooring.
