" I get that you are exaggerating for emphasis, but you yourself made the point earlier that there's a difference between having a choice and being forced. You still have a choice, many choices in fact, so it's not right to say that you are obligated to play ranged. If you are competitive with others, or you want to hit super end-game content, those are still personal goals. I empathize with your plight - I was very excited to try Uber Atziri for the first time, but was loath to burn a huge chunk of currency to run into a deathzone. I had a shot with Mjolner Discharge, which would still require careful planning and some practice and skill, but now it's looking like that won't be viable. I get it, and I'm also disappointed. Part of the problem is that this game has a wide array of players, some who will devote 8-hours a day to the game and others who want to play here and there on the weekend. I'm somewhere in the middle, and though I am loath to admit it I think we have to accept that some of us will not get to play all of the game's content. Maybe only the streamers and most dedicated players get to tackle Uber Atziri. It's gated behind a rare drop off a hard battle, after all. I am not trying to minimize your concerns, just noting that the game isn't perfect nor is it broken - it has a lot to offer in a lot of different ways for a lot of different play styles, and a lot of the pain here isn't about what the game is but rather what we feel we've lost in time and effort. It's ok to be sad about that, but also not feed the anger and frustration. Take some time, and mourn those loses. I hope you find a way to enjoy the game despite feeling like you got dealt an unfair hand. |

So CoC finally gets nerfed! That needed to happen, sorry to everyone whose builds were destroyed, but GGG has done this in the past, and will do it again in the future. I suggest you accept that fact, or rage and move on.

but for guys who buy legacy for 50-100ex now is cost less 1 ex :D very bad GGG |

I just cant stand those bullshits "I am melee so I have to be able to facetank everything in game!". Even as fking melee, you need to move from most deadly thing. You cant just stay at "tentacles" or "blood ball" in T15 core or at Pozza Blast of Uber Atziri because "you are melee". If it is possible, build have to be nerfed, because game is just too easy with it.

The new unique chest that lets players take no additional damage from critical hits may have balanced inquisitors in pvp by itself. I would have liked to see how that changed the meta before completely gutting the entire ascendancy branch for a class. Now crit inquisitors have an ascendancy that does nothing, as well as needing to fight against a new gear piece that voids their crit investment. Since players can hit 70%+ penetration without investing in crit and use much better gear options without making sacrifices for crit, and use elemental overload, the new pvp meta is a no brainer. PPS. If you look at pvp ladder rankings inquisitors weren't even highly represented in the top 100 anywhere. Don't get me wrong, it needed a balance but the new chest was probably enough. When are ya'll going to target the real pvp problems that players have been complaining about since season 1? Example: secondary damage that's very powerful and voids investment in block/spell block, dodge/spell dodge, evasion? (herald of thunder, bear trap, explosive arrow explosion, vortex, beacon of corruption stone golem, etc.). Or 30% instant leech from legacy vinktar + pathfinder (combined with no crit from that new chest, these players will be overly hard to kill in pvp while dealing great damage with the retch, simply because they have a legacy potion that should have never made it passed QA; We shouldn't all need to take bloodless or wear sin trek) Never underestimate what the mod community can do for PoE if you sell an offline client.
