Clever use of poe.trade helps a lot here, I got one of them for 1c, the others for 15-20c. The difference between a 6% and a 10% one is pretty large as well btw so keep an eye on that. It's still worth it and make sure you're getting at least 2 before swapping over to barrage.

Personally I got rid of one and dropped down to 2 so I could get a little STR/INT on my third jewel and drop some nodes near Acro as I went IR. Two is plenty, Three is amazing though.

It looks like I've been using Barrage prematurely as I don't even have one yet. What main damage gem setup do you recommend in the meantime?

I'm thinking Lightning Arrow, Increased critical damage, added lightning damage, weapon elemental damage.
I'm using Roth's reach, so I get some chain effects.

The OP mentions this as well~ Lightning Arrow, Added Lightning, Added Cold, Weapon Elemental Damage.

Apparently can last you well into Merci just with the 4L on Roth's.

Hey guys! Great build OP, been really enjoying since I respecced from LA/BR Voltaxic.

I feel I'm wondering if for the supplementary gems if it's best to keep using Vaal Haste + Vaal Clarity (Actually the clarity seems unneeded even with VH up, but I need to test). Would a Spell Totem + Wither combo possibly be more beneficial for bosses? Has anyone tried both setups?

I'm pretty much cruising right now (even without having tried Cospri's so far), and Haste just shreds any boss I've tried (only up to T10 so far), but I'm sure I'll hit some more difficult stuff soon.

Thanks in advance!

Was using Vaal Haste, then switched to Vaal Grace before I went IR, VH is definitely great, I can't find anything else worth it at all after going IR.

LA or SA are both good, I've used both I found LA to be fine but I got Volley Fire's kinda fast

Switching to IR as a few others have suggested on the last few pages helped me a LOT with just this.

Actually I suggested this a week ago :)

Bought 3 Volley Fires for about 19c each, a cheap voltaxic and off I went. I already had a 5L daresso's defiance and using Iron Reflexes for survivability. The 5L had 3G1B1R so slotted Barrage-Pierce-Poison-Added Lightning-WED. Bought some eva/es gloves with lightning damage and attack speed for the CoH set up and went doing maps.

IR doesn't help against elemental reflect, only against phys reflect and we don't do much phys damage. I am also using Vitality Void for the additional leech but without Vaal Pact the leech is too slow when you unlease your volleys into a large group of mobs.

I thought about taking VP but I like the regen for maps with desecrated ground etc. I should try it though.. I bet I will like it. Lvl 88 now so skillpoints don't come easy now :)
You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.
Went back to evasion version and tried uber izaro again.
I also removed vaalpact and vitality void.
Could do better. I forgot bloodrage.Im such a noob.
He hit me 0 times last fight but i could survive a shield charge.
His wave attack or hammer smash will 1 hit you if you got no mitigation. I use taste of hate.

Difference between IR and full evasion in my experience:
IR is much more reliable since you know you won`t get 1 shot. You can be more careless.
The downside of IR is that if you get stun locked you get wrecked. Big wind up boss attacks with special map attributes will 1 shot you no matter what. With evasion you can evade/dodge those.
You get "more" damage from spells because you have no phase acrobatics.
Phase acrobatics is only 30%,but the difference it makes is huge. Specially combined with alchemist flask.

For reflect you need vaalpact for both builds. Without vaalpact it is not possible to do reflect maps. Unless you want to isolate and kill mobs in really small groups.

Defense with potions

uberzaro fight evasion version.

Anyone else tried point blank?
0/10 needs more extra gore effect for that extra BLOOD AND GUTS.
Hey, do you think Barrage can be usable as a main skill with just two Volley Fires?

I am using it now but tbh I don't really notice much difference other than mobs are less often killed offscreen. Maybe should try a little more before i can give a final verdict.

Definitely, I did it last league, but your AoE clear will go down in effectiveness. I'd still highly recommend taking up a third if you intend to use Barrage full time.
