I like this kind of builds.
Mine implements a similar approach, i enjoy it a lot in terms of playability.

Great build, as always; I'll be happy to PvP you.

A couple of suggestions I have, for testing purposes, when you use that legendary staff, after June 3rd:

PvE
- Dual Call of the Brotherhood
- Added Cold (in place of BCR)
- Elemental proliferation (in place of life leech)
(Supposing you already have some good AoE)

PvP
- Dual Call of the Brotherhood
- BCR
- Concentrated Effect (in place of life leech)

You can skip the golem and add add a CWDT Warlord. Molten Shell also isn't that effective, I;m not sure how much you can scale the damage output (even with the crits), since the character is not designed to stay in range.

I can't pull off dual Call of the Brotherhood with a Kaom's, or I really might do that :) The cold damage is so nice.

To be clear, Life leech gem is solely to help support vaal pact in PVE so I don't 1shot myself to a reflect mob I don't even see (lol). I never use Life leech gem or vaal pact in PVP - PVE only. Added Cold for PVE and BCR generally all the time in PVP (added cold vs rangers if I feel like it).

I find Prolif just isn't worth it, I use AOE gem for most enemies unless they are more tanky then I use Added Light. (Added light just a stop-gap for dmg output since I was only using a 5L in league). I imagine I will not need it with my SC staff or even a 6l pledge.

The Golem and Molten Shell are both just PVE also. I started using Molten really just for extra phys mitigation on maps. Not sure what I'll end up using as solely PVP, we'll see :)

Using or not Vaal Pact, depends usually on the combination of cast speed + total damage received by the opponent. did a lot of experimentation, I m better off without it and I max a total of 13K cold per volley, without the crits (the passive regen from the leech is so much better, HOWEVER, in the case where you do receive tons of damage, like in hard bosses, fast cast speed + some good damage + Vaal pact IS even better).
Slow hits + big damage, usually means Vaal Pact is one way, but you can experiment. Given that jkruede helped, I suspect you must have quite a lot cast speed, so you could experiment without it. For reflect mobs, just a 2ndary trap or chaos setup would do it.

yes cast speed, crit, everything a boy needs to take off his pants and have a good time. And Jkruede definitely helped me get started with him and his advice made leveling very easy.

it seems to me that your cast speed is much higher than you need

I won't be using pledge or spell echo (most likely) in sc, so we'll see what it looks like in 8 days. This is the spammy-little brother-5L-league version

Also I chose to keep a lot of cast speed since I'm much squishier than I will be in sc with the leg kaoms and diff jewels and it's very important to be able to gtfo lol

cast speed is never enough, adds a lot in playability !
