Seriously there is some weird shit going on here, how was I able to kill Markuz full block golem build without BCR trough FW ? I get the occasional lucky hit but I shouldn't have been able to land even one for starter.

More seriously: what was your pierce chance? If it was less than 100%, some arrows would be stopped by the frost wall as if it was a wall. Gmp shots with 70% pierce chance flying through several frost walls, quite a few of those arrows would be stopped, you only need to get lucky once.
Did you kill him outright with first frost walls and shots fired, or was he tanking it like nothing for a bit, till he suddenly splat?
He doesn't have high damage relatively speaking. I got hit by 5-6 arrows behind frost wall that killed me, neither were blocked.

My dmg output is higher than ice deals and i barely tickled you yesterday- He just got lucky. La's secondary dmg can be blocked.

Certainly there is some combination/situation where it cannot be blocked. I was standing on the hill, there was a frost wall a few steps away from me between us, and he was shooting from down. If it wasn't from the frost wall, it could have been the height difference, and he hit the ground at the edge of the hill.

Could be a direct wall spread then like what rup said, you can be hit with LA if you stay to close to the edge of the hill. The opposite should be true as well, shooting the ground from the hill may trigger the aoe shotgun effect like EA.
