LA chain is projectile attack and can be blocked.
Secondary damage hits (non spell nor attack): ea explosion, bear trap, DD, MI, HoT, HoI, (Probably HoA overkill too if it actually 'hit') | |

LA second form through FW is secondary damages.
I tested it myself with Markuz full block golem build. I managed to kill him without BCR with LA behind FW. You can probably block it if it chain from a normal target but if the chain come from a wall hit or trough FW, it is secondary damages as I've been suspecting for a very long time. Last time I tested LA with frostwall vs an aegis char I was able to block the explosion.
Maybe MI is an issue now but EA isn't strong because of secondary damage. If you want to test it just stand in the open of Sara arena and take 5 stacks of EA without a wall near by. The damage is a joke it's really shotguning that's the problem with EA. Other than that secondary damage from bear trap, heralds and DD are no problem at all IGN:Dethklok

I don't think guys are talking about the chain when they say secondary damage. There is a secondary AoE damage where you literally just take lightning damage if you're near something that God hit by LA. Afaik it's unavoidable. That is why if you're adjacent to a frost wall that gets pierced by LA you're immediately getting hit five times at once and dying. (This is consistently what happens)

LA's hit~pierce + frost wall secondary damage can be dodged/blocked, LA's wall shot(not frost wall) aoe(secondary) damage cant be blocked + dodged.

Seriously there is some weird shit going on here, how was I able to kill Markuz full block golem build without BCR trough FW ? I get the occasional lucky hit but I shouldn't have been able to land even one for starter.

"One shots? :p More seriously: what was your pierce chance? If it was less than 100%, some arrows would be stopped by the frost wall as if it was a wall. Gmp shots with 70% pierce chance flying through several frost walls, quite a few of those arrows would be stopped, you only need to get lucky once. Did you kill him outright with first frost walls and shots fired, or was he tanking it like nothing for a bit, till he suddenly splat? |
