Nope, that's for when you use Voidheart setup which you'll need the passive to equip rare boots to make up for the lost res from changing rings. Standard dual striker uses kaom's but voidheart swaps out a ring, so the easiest way to get the res back is by dropping kaoms for rare boots

What are you confused about? Attacking gives you life based on your physical damage. No leech gem required, you take some leech nodes halfway into the tree I posted. Then you attack stuff and when you are wang-chunged in the face you get "x%" of your life back based on your physical damage and leech percent. The super-psycho fast Attacks per Second of my build can make 0.4% leech give you your entire life bar back instantly.

is there a reason why you chose dual strike as your primary offensive skill? will other skills like lacerate work as well?
