[2.6] Milky's Righteous Fire Totems [cheap, SC/HC, Shaper, UberAtziri]
" PCoC is useless for this build. Also the time you'd want Elemental Overload is when you're fighting a boss. May be a bad idea to trigger CwDT when you're fighting a boss. Last edited by elitedesolator on Mar 1, 2016, 9:28:15 PM

" According to this: http://i.imgur.com/bFiTfDX.png?1 I don't think CwDT works with Orb of Storm http://goo.gl/FiZavf

" none of this is useful or works. i would use the orb for curse on hit only to drop blasphemy curses. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi-NL9JevOxF-6W3n-a7o-w

my only concern with having orb for curse on hit is it will slow clear speed. you will need to cast orb at every pack to curse rather than every couple packs just to proc elemental overload. This is all speculation as i have not played rf totems before and dont have alpha to test this. It may not be bad to play with but just the idea of having to cast more at every pack i think will slow you down.

thats my concern as well, however it can procc ele overload on top and only has a 0.5s casttime and ever hit has its own critchance.

So, potential replacement for:
Ice Spear + Inc. Crit + Faster Casting / GMP Is: Orb of Storms + Inc. Crit + ??? EDIT: Since Orb of Storms keep striking, do you guys think Equilibrium can be included back into the build? Trash clear speed will suffer though. Last edited by elitedesolator on Mar 2, 2016, 1:29:37 AM

" Orb cant procc EE, you HAVE TO selfcast it, not trapsupport or similar seems possible. I would go for Orb + CoH + 2x curse or Orb + blind + inc crit maybe. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi-NL9JevOxF-6W3n-a7o-w

" Wait, EE can only be proc'd by self casting spells? Are we sure Orb of Storms doesn't count? And on proccing Elemental OVERLOAD, do you think Orb of Storms might be better than Ice Spear? EDIT: Orb should work with both Overload and Equilibrium. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAOv3LnoFsw Last edited by elitedesolator on Mar 2, 2016, 1:59:57 AM

" You want to go 6l with Orb of Storms? | |
" no no You have to selfcast the Orb because it cant be supported with cwdt/trap/mine/coc etc. To procc Ele Overload you DONT NEED TO DEAL DAMAGE, the hit just hast to crit, even with 0 damage To procc Elemental Equilibrium you/trap/totem/mine NEED TO DEAL ELEMENTAL DAMAGE, a hit alone isn´t enough Orb can work on other builds with EE, but we dont deal damage due to Ascestral Bonds, so we cant use it to procc EE, just for EleOverload " no never, you overread the or inbetween. A 3l or 4l could be possible I´ll test the "orb + curse on hit + dualcurse" setup sometimes in maps (when i have my links etc) if it works for me. This COULD make a Ice Spear setup unnecessary. If its unreliable for proccing Ele Overload, the cursing is not so great with it, feels to clunky or it reduces my clearspeed too much i will probably go back to tri curse blasphemy. This setup is overall a good option for Hardcore, frees up mana, allows a 50% reservation aura like determination + blasphemy Temp Chains and you still have 15% free mana without any nodes on the tree. Thats the big benefit i see in this setup. The other option COULD BE removing the ice spear setup adding Orb + blind + critchance (or something else), maybe its reliable at blinding the targets and to procc EO with the high duration, could be very useful on bosses IF it works. The downside with the Orb is Corrupting Blood and Lightning Thorns, which probably stack up fast. You can´t unsummon the orb, only place it at a different spot. It may be clunky and slows down the overall cleaspeed but can give some safety too https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi-NL9JevOxF-6W3n-a7o-w My Youtube channel with builds, unique and mechanic discussions etc Last edited by Milkyslice on Mar 2, 2016, 2:40:55 AM
