you need to hit to trigger ee and deal damage (icetrap, loghtning trap).

rf and sb dont trigger ee since they degenerate the enemys and dont hit.


I would switch after lvl 38 or later. Thr dmg is insane and i actually dont like firestorm totems that much (the targeting on moving targets).

orb doesnt trigger EE with ancestral bonds, you need to deal damage (or the totem/trap/mine) to trigger the effect.
Orb however is used for Elemental overload and optional curse on hit.


My hierophant version, which i currently test and play, uses no ancestral bonds and curses, eo and ee with orb alone.
seems faster for packclearing and obviously weaker for singletarget.

but i need to get a similar gearlevel to comprehend it correctly with the chieftain.
only have one totemlife jewel, no dorys/doedres scorn so far, which is a huge difference (+15 lvls difference)

yes it does, the best option to trigger it (good aoe, one gem only).

EE is not required for packs, i barely used my trap, only on tanky rares, bosses and in curse immune + fireresi maps etc.

vaal lightning trap does the same, would use both

Hello, i am pretty new to this game and i tried to use your build. It is very good and using it is pretty fun but i have one question, silly one. We have here 3 auras, each one costs 35% of mana. How am i supposed to use all auras? And of course thank you a lot for this build.

Take reduced mana reservation nodes, Sovereignity cluster near Ancestral Bond in the tree.

Should i use purity of fire all the time? cant use more blasphemy curses cause of it

Thank you for this build. I'm at 63 and it is a lot of fun so far and I haven't even switched to RF, still using FS and SB, which continue to be quite powerful on their own.

I've been amazingly unlucky with gearing and gems so the RF totems don't have enough life for RF yet, they die very fast and have poor radius, but I'll keep at it. I am completely convinced that GGG had the drop rate cranked up to 11 in Perandus. By Merc I had hundreds of jewelers orbs and links, tons of currency to craft with, but in Prof, I'm broke and every jewel I roll gives me nothing I can use. But I digress.


I just wanted to say that for anyone else using this build that just FS and SB and decent resists will get you through until maps, so if you haven't been able to get RF to work well yet, hang in there.
