With the new update: I have seen that the support gem "rapid decay" dont affect the gem RF


so, this is new ? or you make a error from all this time ?

it doesnt work with rf, but it works with rf totem, since spelltotem gives rf a duration tag.

works like a charm so far as usual :P

running purity of elements + fire atm, curse on hit orb and thats it. makes capping resists really easy :)

Hey Milky! Great guide, I'm going to follow it for the new league this weekend!

I'm incredibly curious about the Hierophant version of this build. Do the totems die really fast, or is it totally manageable? I really love the idea of being able to EE, Curse on hit, EO all at once. I played the marauder very briefly, never got to have fire immune totems, but it was still making it's way through the game at a nice pace. I was double totem as soon as I could grab the node, and RF from the beginning. I didn't mind it, so I'm very curious of your input with the Templar.

Again, props to the build, totally going to roll it here in a couple hours!
the totems last around 4secs with capped fire resists (varys if used purity of fire).

since mobs die in under 1sec duration doesnt matter.

for bosses i alternate the totems to get a 100% uptime.

played this build without any ascendancys before, worked fine.


With jewels and without puritys the duration is fine. Puritys have the problem that you need to stay close, but atm i need the resists myself ;)

Which skill are you using for elemental equilbirium and how is it working? does the first elemental damage trigger ele-eq for the next few seconds or do i need to damage them with for example lightning the whole time (wont be working cuase rf totems are damaging with fira all the time). And how is eleeq usefull when you are using searing bond and rf totem 24/7 on mobs it just strengthens their fire res

Started leveling this character and having so much fun so far (35lvl). For now using Firestorm dual totems and searing bond, now i am not sure i want to switch to RF due to small area, probalby will level some more with Firestorm. Ty for guide again.
