[2.6] Milky's Righteous Fire Totems [cheap, SC/HC, Shaper, UberAtziri]

WANNA POST MAH GEAR TOO ALL ARE DOING IT Y NOT ME THEN.

So I've bought some pretty items for myself during the last 3 days I'm sitting sick at home:

Took that shield for 1c, belt and jewellery (except Doedre's) for something about 5-12c each, gloves for 50c.

Gaining currency daily, so I'm thinking about improvements.

Elemental Equilibrium:
It is a Keystone that gives the Enemy -50% Fire resistance if we apply Cold or Lightning damage. With Dual Totems we can´t deal damage, but we can with Totems, Traps and Mines. (Vaal) Lightning Trap and Ice Trap are good for this.
Elemental Equilibrium is not important for Packs, they die really fast without it.
It has its strength in high Resist Maps and against Bosses and Curse Immune Rares. It ALWAYS reduces the max Resist by 50% regardless of Boss curse effectiveness.

What do you think of Vulnerability instead of Elemental Weakness? I got a 20% increased Vulnerability curse effect enchant on my Doedre's Scorn and it seems like it should be more damage.

My apologies. Apparently I missed that part where you are suggesting to debuf with vaal lightning trap. Isn't there are problem? Or I might be still missing something. I understand how EE supposed to work for distinguishable strikes. I'm not an expert in RF, and hence the confusion.

I was thinking that the RF is applied as ticks counted as separate hits. If that's the case the EE will be overridden right after the first tick of the DOT.

Even if the RF counted as a single strike for the entire duration, I still have an issue with 5 seconds duration (well unless of course you can kill a boss in that time).

For EE to be effective strikes of different element would need to be alternated. I don't see how you can do it with RF totem. Can you please clarify if you know how the RF is applied.

I watched the video and couldn't understand what interaction between the two you were trying to test.
rf or sb arent hits, they wont trigger EE
Reflected dmg also wont trigger EE.

You might be correct. But then the following property of the Tukohama, War's Herald will not work with RF totem.

Does the item rarity gem work with RF? I linked IR gem to rf and spell totem, but the increased item rarity in my TOOLTIP doesn't change. Why is this?

Patch 1.0.6
Fixed a bug where Righteous Fire was not correctly supported by the Item Quantity or Item Rarity support gems.

It should work, maybe you didn't check the tooltip of RFT in the Characterscreen.

It should do the same damage if we compare non quality gems.

Vulnerability with 20% effectiveness results in 6%-7% more degen damage which is on par with elemental weakness without any other curse effectiveness.
