cool nova build but did you try yet the blood dance boots instead of atziri's steps?

somehow atziri's steps looks useless

@Anavals - u can try buy 5L for now until u have money for a 6L.

@bilgin_89 - High evasion, 10% elem damage, 30 move speed and 14-16% spell block chance for such build is far from useless.

We don't Blood Dance (and we only have 3 frenzy charges).

This build is awful for leveling and feels awful to play until you get to about level 80 and with two good 5 links, wouldn't recommend at all.

leveling was pretty hard but i think its worth it ;)
Really cool build so far.
Couple questions I had:
1) Is added cold better than cold pen? I understand that you are using cold to fire instead of cold pen because of the swap flexibility in having those colors, but why added cold over cold pen?
2) Does it make sense to use added lightning over added cold? Will you do enough damage to shock on crits? What's your reasoning behind using added cold. Is it just that you can scale cold damage further through the tree?
3) How necessary would you say flame surge swap is to the build? Since we already do enough damage to most mobs without cold pen, and using cold to fire allows us to swap the slot with flame surge, is it just a minor convenient benefit? Is it noticeably slower to kill high tier bosses with ice nova + cold pen & max damage links?

Thanks, keep up the good work.

Hey dude.

1) Using Cold Penetration when using Cold to Fire gem isn't wise, because only half of the damage you deal will benefit from it, therefore Added cold damage is superior.

2) Nope, its a useless gem for us. Added cold is better since ur main skill is cold based and because cold to fire converts more damage for fire.

3) Flame surge smashes hard enemies FAR faster than Ice Nova, and changing cold to fire gem with Fire Penetration makes it purely a beast.

Hey, I appreciate the response. I was under the impression that the choices you made in the build were the more effective ones. I just wanted to get some insight into your reasoning behind the decisions. Thanks!
I think i'm blind, but what are you using for life leech?

Dual curses - Warlod marks grants HP & mana per HIT, and assasin mark grants HP & mana per KILL.

Vaal pact gives you instant heals instead of heal over time, which is your main survivability source.
