Thanks. I swapped to the 20q and noticed my frenzy charges and onslaught activate more frequently now. I guess i'll have to continue getting everything to 20q.

Does a max level empower gem add a lot to the dps?

Yes. Lv4 Empower adds a significant amount of DPS - but probably one of the more expensive options to increase up DPS compared to getting 21 on some other gems.

I am not sure, but aren't the passive nodes that affect Critical Strike Chance and Multiplier without "for spells" in the name *not* affecting the spell damage of this build?

Or are they handled as "Global" modifiers - working for both attacks and spells?

Also, using Shock Nova & Herald of Thunder + switching some nodes from cold to to lightning damage / elemental damage would reduce damage, right? Shock nova seems to have a lower damage scaling than Ice Nova, would be interesting to focus on lightning as main damage factor.

It's a mistake, Fixed. its 3 Frenzy [previously we used 2 extra frenzy from tree, until I realized its not as good as other stuff from the tree].

@ShadowMagnet - Nope. For spells is only for spells, the rest is for everything.

Haven't checked it to its depth, and I always prefer live checking rather than speculations ;p

Imo all of the builds will get stronger, it is more power through ascendary.
Nobody can tell if it will keep up with fotm builds, currently its close to the best clearspeed but not as safe as some builds.

From what i can see i will/would reroll templar because crits ignore resistances takes the build to the god tier what currently chaos damage is.

On the other hanmd saboteur could be really really really opie with one more trap getting rid of the trap limit problem which should lead to really great clearpseed since u wont have to wait for a new trap after oneshotting a screen....so...lets wait, lets see all the classes and then wait more for the release buffs/nerfs:)
Instead of the charcass jack could i then use atziri's splendour? in the old build version it was used..

maby you can give a short pro and con for both armors?

Pretty easy to compare:

Carcass Jack:
~700 evasion
~60 life
~10 all res
20 radius (we take 25% on tree, this add on 80% more radius bonus)
12% area damage - depends on your gear but about ~2% damage.

Evaluation: Decent defensive stats plus significant bonus to radius of nova/curse and a bit of damage)

Atziri's Splendour:
~1200 evasion (assuming you got evasion variant, 1 of 7)
~100 life
~20 all res
life/mana on kill

Evaluation: Better defensive stats - but we can overcap resistance without this body anyway
Slightly more life/evasion
Significantly smaller nova size, and LW curse area - less mobs cursed - less life/mana leech - less power/endurance charges - less DPS boost by assassins mark
life/mana on kill is useless during strong boss fights
Price/rarity of pure evasion version - especially in leagues

Feel free to add your thoughts. Both are good body pieces, but I very much like the Carcass Jack having a larger AoE to curse and leech more on hits for everything cursable rather than a measely 100 on kills and a bit of evasion/life.
