As in first impressions, it seems like our tree is gonna be like this:

Seems like we might get +2 to frenzy charges and not +1 like now [total 5, instead of 4].

Will update if I change it .

Would you recommend this build as a first charater in a new league?
Or is a certain amount of currency and gear required, before this build actually works?

This build can be done as first character.
Look at the advices in the 'budget' section [Taryn shiver staff etc].

Will still be a good viable build.

So tsachiy1 I have gotten that new ammy, respecced as you advised and bought a corrupted lv 3 empower. I still sit at 66k dps with 3 frenzy charges and all the other charges maxed.

How am i missing 80k dps from you??? I cant fathom it

The dps shown in the guide is WITH atziri flask.
how much dps you have with atziri flask? it'll be round 90k.

without it i have around 115k if i remember correctly [not at home right now so cannot check].

* My boots are corrupted with +1 to socketed gems [means +1 to herald of ice] and the empower linked to herald of ice is level 3.
* my empower linked to the 6L staff is level 4.

* not all of your gems are level 20 yet, and most of my gems are level 21 or with 23q

* i am level 100 [more skill points].

All this things effect the total dps.

I still wonder if the extra frenzy charges are worth it. Frenzy is nice and boosts DPS greatly, but Ice Bite doesn't proc that often, as it only affects enemies killed by Herald of Ice's mini-novas. And everything directly around us just dies so fast ;-) Then again, there isn't much stuff to get otherwise in the tree.

So, what is better, 20% life with nodes around Blood Drinker or 32 el. dmg around Elemental Focus?

@Tyrandor, don't worry I thought about it.
Since characters now ge 6 instead of 4 mana each level, my idea will be trying to drop enlighten from herald of ice and put Culling Strike instead.
This way the frenzy charges will be up easily.


@trueZurg, I do believe we need more hp. we have enough dps, and regardless we don't focus on spell spell damage/elem damage because we mainly crit based, so anyways i prefer hp. its reallly personal matter.

I might change some stuff eventually, we'll see.

And what about losing 5% chance to freeze? Will it cause Ice Bite to occur less often?

Well, it will affect it in some way, but I dont see it as a big deal. We crit a lot, which means we ignite / freeze alot, so we can manage without this 5%.
