[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)

No, you progress down into Duelist, over to Ranger, up to Shadow, etc., completing the tree with available passive points all the way until you get Path of the Ranger from the lab.

At that point, all you need to do is make sure your tree is connected to Ranger start through the projectile damage path. Once you have that, you can unspec the connecting points on the highway down towards Duelist and move them elsewhere.

So let's say for example you're level 80ish and your tree looks like this, and you've spent the first three labs getting Deadeye and then moving to grab Occultist.

Then you go do Uber lab and get Path of the Ranger.

You can then use quest respec points or regrets and change it to this, whereupon I moved the three highway points towards Phase Acrobatics.

Make sense? =)

Those links are giving me a bad gateway error :/
Can someone give me a passive tree lvling for scion build?

Just killed Kit, level 47. This is my passive tree as I start into Part II

Level 47 Tree.

Keep in mind this is personal preference as to which nodes you take first. You might choose to prioritize life, life regeneration, Phase, whatever makes your play more comfortable.
Currently level 82 and everything feels super smooth. I'm getting close to my uber lab points and I am torn between Necromancer and Occultist.

Is the -15% chaos res really so amazing that we can overlook all the benefits from Necromancer?
Yes.

-15% chaos res is like adding another multiplier gem, while Necro's damage buff is like taking three 10% damage nodes. Plus, we don't really benefit from the skill duration.

Meanwhile, we also get 20% increased damage (similar to Necro's buff) when killing cursed enemies, putting it's "increased" portion of the damage buff only 10% behind Necro. Then you factor in the -chaos res multiplier.

So really, Necro's not even close.

Hello,
Just some nitpicking, really, but you might want to look into updating the following in the FAQ section:

Q: Can you do a Gear Check for Me? What is the Gear Progression?
drillneck not being bis anymore

Q: What about Ventor's Gamble?
should specify if the 40 minimum rarity is total (implicit + explicit) or just explicit (the explicit being 40 at the max value). I suppose it's explicit like in the build guide, under the Gearing/Accessories section.

Q: This tooltip? What the f**k??
the tooltip works now

Thanks ;)

LE: Also the Minor God section needs some corrections:

Garukhan has "5% chance to evade attacks if you've taken a savage hit recently
(Capture Rek'Tar, the Breaker: 6% increased movement speed if you haven't been hit recently)

Gruthkul has "1% additional physical damage reduction for each hit you've taken recently up to a maximum of 5%"
(Capture Legius Garhall: Enemies that have hit you with an attack recently have 8% reduced attack speed)

Tukohama has: "While stationary, gain 2% additional physical damage reduction each second, up to a maximum of 8%"
Capture Tore, Tower Ancient: While Stationary, gain 0.5% of life regenerated per second each second, up to a maximum of 2%

LLE: Also you should specify if the finished stats figures are with the new (40-50)% increased Area Damage Carcass Jack or not ... I suppose not ;)
-also with Drillneck or not

Thanks for the proofing. About to go to bed so I'll update these tomorrow.

Regarding the tooltip one, that's not about AoE working/notworking, it's about people sometimes not knowing where to look to check CA dps (out of habit, I suppose, in checking the top bar of the hover display, which is suitable for basically every other skill ever). That one stays =)

I'm a little bit disappointed with the new Carcass, thought the delta would be bigger.

Some stats:
with QotF + drillneck = 41.3k cdps
with 50%.carcass + drillneck = 44.0k cdps
with QotF + 50%.rigwald = 44.0k cdps
with 50%.carcass + 50%.rigwald = 46.5k cdps

I think I'll just use QotF because 80% movement speed versus 45%. And because of the resists aswell.

Will change drillneck but dunno yet with what.

but man, thought the new Carcass would be bomb, buffed from 12% to 50% increased Area Damage. really disappointed with only 2.5-3k cdps gain.

When I'll have the chance I'll also test with the 80% Increased Chaos Damage Cherrubim, maybe that will show some real heavy cdps gains.
Hey. Thanks for this awesome build, i'm actually playing it on lvl ~50, having no real problems instead of bosses, i can kill them but it takes time and a lot of thinking about doing the right moves to not die, but the way to play is freaking funny.

I were thinking, does the Decay Support Gem could not be interesting ? I mean, it does chaos damage per sec, and i don't think it's going over the cloud from CA, so it could add a lot of damage, scalling now from 2 chaos damage sources. I'm still a newbie about how this game works, but i think it's a think you could look, right ?

PS : I'm sorry if that Decay Support gem was already checked, i can't look over 500 pages :D

It's in the gem links section for the CoH setup. It won't help out the cloud directly and it's not better than any of other options to help the cloud out but as secondary damage being dealt from Frenzy it's helpful for sure.
