thats one off the things i dont understand till your guide. The difference between projektile dmg and projektile attack dmg.

so sad that the proj attack dmg did nothing for the cloud.

as a side note

yesterday i found my first envy essence. Thats really stange.
And the grief shaper thing i found 3 times in a High gardens map. My prefered map.
Found there also 3 times 3 essence mobs but no curruption on 4. :-(

A big problem i had with the vault map with 2 bosses. There was no time and place to kill both
and they do so much adds. (ok. it was also elemental weekness and enfeeble. i died twice since i realized that i cant kill them both. i askt for help in 820 but no one wsp me. So i let it :-)

a 2 boss excavtion map make no problem because the room is big enought. and not so big adds.

Yeah, made me sad too that those gloves weren't general projectile.

I tried a little bit with that amulet. But had not the idea wich item i should take as a normal.
so i tried a blue ring like you with the amulett. but the downsize was, that i lost much resi and life on the amulett and much rarity on the ring to get some quantity.
the idea with the quiver i didnd hat. Perhaps that would be a thing. But the amu give me max 70 rarity with some life and res the advarius 85 rarity what are 145 to 100 and the quantity from the amulett. if i take a ventors i can get 110 with the amu and 10 quantity and loss of much life and res.
So i think its not a good deal, even if it looks nice.

And with the quiver solution you will have low dmg.

For the build guide the answer is no. The math for why The Ascetic is not included in the build can be found in the FAQ post(second spoiler from the bottom). I've not used it in any of my gear sets, the loss of life and/or resistance on two pieces of gear is too much of a pain for me to make up else where.

Also if you are going to continue to post your full gear set, please do so in a spoiler, it helps to keep the thread less cluttered.

You certainly can if you want, but the point of this particular thread is to provide a balance between survivability, damage, and MF, and is catered as much to casual, newer players as it is veterans interested in pushing t14s.

Hey Serleth, Great guide and thank you. I have really been enjoying this build. I have a couple questions about the CA links. I did not want to buy a lvl 3 empower so I have been using slower projectiles instead up till now, just hit lvl 82 and swapped over to empower lvl 3 instead of the slower projectiles. but my damage output seems to have decreased.. am i using the wrong links CA, Empower, Void manipulation, rapid decay, conc effect, and iir gem. I Dont really have the currency to chrom back and forth to test or i would but do you think is the best link set up to use empower or slower projectiles?

Something weird is going on. I've tested it in a 6L (all leveled gems) and Empower 3 (in a +3 bow) trumps Slower Proj.

My only guess is you have a 6L +2 at the moment.

We even had a multi-post back-and-forth about this awhile back :-). In that exchange we tested this configuration in the damage simulator, hand calculated the damage, and even equipped the configurations in game; +3 Empower definitely beats out slower projectiles in a +3 bow.

If you still seem to seeing slower proj winning out, I suggest that you make your character public so we can look at your gear/tree to try to figure out what's going on. Perhaps you don't have a level 21 Caustic Arrow gem - that could affect the outcome.

Thanks for the quick reply! I think that is it.. my CA is lvl 19 atm. I am using a +3 bow. I need to look up how to make my character public and post my tree/equip here.
