[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)
"Just divine it. The resistance rolls won't change much - they only range from 21-25 in the first place - so throw a couple divines at it and stop when the DOT bonus is better. Way cheaper than tossing exalts at it. Current league IGN: Teldra_Anc_LAD
Feel free to message me in game if I'm on. |

The Ghuddanator. Possibly clears faster than Vaal Spark.

Saw that yesterday.
Problem is it has practically zero single target effectiveness. For as fast as it clears packs, it probably sucks balls in high tier map boss fights. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. Last edited by Serleth on Oct 1, 2016, 6:05:49 PM

Divines! Right. I'll get right on that. Thank you for the tip. Being my first league this is likely my main for the season until I'm more comfortable with it and the game.
Back to my question about jewels... out of the 7 jewels how many life rolls should I go for? I assume that passive points above 90 (to get the 7 jewels, I'm at 87 now) should be spent grabbing the 5% increased life nodes (and maintain 5k hp maybe swapping out jewel life later)? Or is it worth 4 levels (lv94) grabbing phase acrobatics? |
|
I take Phase and have roughly 4.9k life with all the scion life wheel and only four of the seven jewels, with life on only ONE of those jewels.
I think Phase is more important in 2.4 than it was before. Lots of incoming damage from spells with some of the monster tweaks. You could avoid Phase and snag more life on jewels to bring you up to 5.1k or so and just rely on flasks as well. It honestly depends on what your res balance situation is with your gear, how you end up going about the jewel game. It's tough to give a recommendation because every league is going to be slightly different depending what your gear is. For example, this league I covered most of my resistances with jewels, allowing me to invest fully in the Scion life wheel, but on one of my Standard iterations of the build, I have three less Scion life nodes because I'm level 93 and have life on all the jewels, with better resistance on gear. Your priority should always be one of either life or resistance (res takes priority) + one damage roll. Anything else you get is a bonus. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

Hi all :) Well it's been about half a year since I played last so a ton has changed. Thanks again Serleth for maintaining this guide for so long :D
I decided to come back and I'm confused on a few points... * What's with the tooltip and character sheet values for pierce chance? Are we back to using Poacher's Aim again to get 100% pierce? * Can I get a DPS check? Cloud tooltip reads 20.8k dps (with frenzy charges up!). Sound about right for an empower 3 setup? I feel quite slow. And that's WITH poacher's aim to bring me up to 95% pierce. See like I said above I'm confused, because the tooltip in the guide SHOWS 100%. But my tooltip says 85% even though I calculate 95%, and I don't know where I should be picking up the rest to reach 100%. Sorry, sorry, I've been away for a long time and this is literally the first guide I re-looked up. * How much damage does the level 4 empower bring over the level 3 empower? I have 8 exalt sitting here... is it worthwhile to spend it all for the empower-4? * I'm having a lot of trouble with survivability even with phase acrobatics, so I guess I just need to get used to the game again... " We don't bother. 80-90% is good enough (80% with + arrow, 90% with regular drillneck). You can beat out the damage values of Poacher's Aim with a rare jewel. PA was used mostly because prior to Ascendancy, we did not get the 30% Pierce chance from Deadeye that we do now. Note regarding the char sheet stuff: those are from 2.2. I haven't taken new screens because there's no point, the values end up being nearly identical. You can eke out a bit more life since 2.3, that's about it. There was also a change between 2.2 and 2.3 where Scion's Deadeye got nerfed from 50% Pierce to 30% Pierce. That's why you see 100% there. " Refer to the stats section on the OP. Nothing much has changed there for a completed build. You'll cap at roughly 24-25k tooltip at level 92-ish with a 21 CA and Empower 4. Empower 4 adds about 2k tooltip, unbuffed (no charges, no golem), depending on your tree/jewels. Remember, this difference doesn't factor in Conc Effect, so it's closer to an additional 3.6k. " Hi Hank Thats right. i like your sight of the things. I saw it only from my and 2 friends perspective and some guys who have a really good 6 link luck And right if i used 100000 fuse perhaps i will have a similar experience like serleth. But thats will never happen :-) I like your style!!! its verry funny to discuss with you. And it would verry interesting for me to know how ggg do it. But then perhaps its exploiding. And so i think they will never give us a solution. But the idea with a generated number list is verry funny. That i dont think off :-) |

Hey guys,
Question got 5 link +2 bow, 7k cloud dps and 130 rarity which map range should i focus on for farming currency | |
I would initially focus on just "incidental" farming, which is to say "whatever you end up earning" as you level up to ~88-90 as you push the highest tier map you feel comfortable with.
